Sorry, I don't mean legitimate as in actually accurate and true. I meant it's more official than what they told a congressman's staffer because we can't even verify who provided that information and what kind of information they have access to. At least with the online processing time, we know it's been verified as their "story" so to speak.

Yeah I get that April, but I'll have to disagree just a bit. Although the response I received was from Congressman John Carter's office, it was simply the forwarding of an email that they received directly from USCIS HQ. And in that email from HQ, they stated that all service centers were reporting 5 months for the processing times of the I-129F. So it is written evidence of their official position, which is why I included it in the enclosures that accompanied my letter to the White House.

Frankly speaking, it was this email from USCIS HQ that set me off. It was a clear denial by someone, who knows who, of the truth. Or else it was ignorance. Or indifference and apathy. However you wanna slice it, I felt like it was telling all of us to go and "#### off" while simultaneously handing us a -slap to boot. That didn't sit well with me and so I bugged Kristin and Stef about their petitions, brought you in to help and the skunkworks thing was born. Yup, that was a strong motivator for me, no doubt. LOL :D :D :D

Guys, are there any magic caffeine cures? I think I drank too much coffee this morning. I'm so jittery and on edge right now.

I'm right there with ya. Something has me on fire this morning. :D

Ugh. Well then they have 2 contradictory official positions. They're so messed up, they can't even get their own story straight. Zero real, honest transparency.

in the end, it'll get done when it gets done no matter what we do. The only reason I've even bothered doing anything about it is just to foolishly make myself feel like I'm doing all I can do.

Their job is to process applications. Not to feel empathy for you. They have no reason to care.

As a matter of fact, I'd argue that if they started making decisions emotionally, they wouldn't be doing their job.

Yeah I'd have to agree with most all of that. I don't know that any of the extra stuff any of us have done will make any impact, but you never know. And it sure beats sitting around whining and complaining, but doing nothing. At least now when I about it, I will know that I took action too. Lol Edited by av8or1

I am also exhausted over this loooong process... what keeps me going is that if we don't get our Noa2 before february 23rd I will go to houston to see my love using my tourist visa  I work at an airline and the tickets will be cheap :D let's hope and pray for the best

Alexa-

I meant to tell you that at our meeting last weekend I told Adam that when you're in town we must absolutely have another meetup in Houston. So giddy-up, tick-tock, crack the whip on him so we can make it happen. I saw a Logan's right next to the Brickhouse Tavern ... I like their steaks, so that is a possibility for next time. The location seemed to work for everyone...

Same thing went for April, as Daniel is supposed to be coming to Houston sometime soon.

But I dunno, that is *if* y'all can fit it in to your schedules.......if so let's set the date and make the plans! :)

Elena can join us via Skype like she did last time! LOL Hopefully I didn't weird the crew out with that one, but she wanted to say hi to them...

BTW msbau764 .... where's the picture???? :D :D :D

Yes, I knew pfrederiksen that you were going to cast a black shadow over the whole affair. But it is what it is. I think we all realized what the chances were when we sent the FedEx packet, which is why I sent it 3-day instead of overnight. I don't mind tossing $10 in the garbage bin, but not $40. LOL In addition, Stef has a contact that is supposed to help us get the letter into someone's hands who might actually be able to do something with it. Who knows if that'll pan out either, but Stef gave it a heck of an effort to get that contact on-board. I tip my hat to her for her efforts. Kristin is a hell of a proofer and April checked things over too.

So. Regardless of the outcome, I busted azz on that project, as did the other skunkworks team members. I will never lose that fighting spirit, despite the negativity of you and so many others. Heck I'm already looking at other things I can try next. In fact I've been working on one of them this week. The point to all of that being that I refuse to give up on the issue of an imbalance in the processing times between the CSC and TSC; they will not wear me down, I will keep at it until change is affected somehow, someway. As I've said before, it's not the wait that drives me, it's the unfairness of the imbalance in processing times.

But whichever, criticize it all y'all want. I've done more than all I can and that is cool. To me at least.

Ok I'm out WRT the debate regarding the merit of continued appeals...
