Saylin,

Thanks for the prompt response. I'll just give them another call. I would just like to finish my medical especially my vaccines because i do not have any record. I am afraid i will be needing vaccines that needs to be given as a series (several weeks after the initial dose) so it will not cause more delays on my end. Thanks!

[...]

Unless it's different in your country, you can get the vaccines done now ahead of time in a clinic and then just bring all that documentation to the medical.

Okay so just got off the phone with a lovely lady (I do have an advantage of calling first thing in the morning...before they get drained of their happiness!) -- She said that they were in house on the 23rd of October and scanned into their system on the 24th of October. She said that usually it goes by the date that they are scanned in (plus or minus a day) so I should actually be calculating the 23rd. Either way 23rd or 24th...just kinda glad I'm not calculating the 27th which is when the e-mail was received.

I'm so sorry to hear about this - It's terrible when fellow members have to go through this - I hope you stay strong for your family and once it's all over you can breath a sigh of relief...just very hard when you are trying to see an end to this madness and know you have a bit to go. We are here for you as a support function (even if we are lands apart!) (L)

darn it, edit: not scanned in - when they were in house (on the 23rd in my case).

Thanks for the info! I don't really feel up to calling this week but this is good news. We have the same timeline then. I'm going to go by the 24th just in case and see what happens. :)

Thanks a bunch DWarrell - Just out of curiosity, are you planning to wait till after you submit your DS-260 to send your AOS and IV packet? I'm hoping to send ours before that. Hopefully we don't get penalized for that.

~ Sofi

Hi Sofi,

I'm in the same situation as you, going through under the new process where we submit all documents together. I submitted my DS-261 on October 14, and I'm still waiting for my IV bill to be invoiced. If you look at Saylin's processing times spreadsheet, you'll see that so far this year the average time between DS-261 submission and IV bill invoice is 36 days, although that seems to have been coming down a bit recently. It looks like I'm about a week ahead of you in the process, so keep an eye on my timeline - I'm obsessive about checking for updates on my case! :)
