I'm actually thrilled for everyone specially you my friend but seeing many breeze by with no problems is frankly difficult to swallow. I start to feel a sinking feeling in my stomach like when I would take a test and slowly people started finishing and leaving the class room, not sure that ever happened to you. Just not a good feeling and I don't need this right now. I am beyond happy when one of us get's CC and interview, it makes me enormously happy.

I know kind of how you feel Soloenta. When everyone was getting the IV invoice quite a while before me, at the time it felt like our case had somehow gone missing. When you're waiting and don't know when the next stage will happen, it feels like it will never happen, especially when everyone else is passing you by. Thankfully I caught up since I managed to get CC just before the second round of interview scheduling. Maybe something similar will happen to you when you get CC

Weekends and holidays are the worst! I closed my fb because I was tired of seeing other couples!! Am I getting crazy? I've been such in a bad mood lately, sad, the worst is yet to come I dont wanna spend Xmas without my hubby

When I was waiting for my NOA2, I stopped going on Facebook for a good few months for the same reason. A lot of people I went to school with have happy lives with husbands/fiances and kids running around everywhere, and we're all stuck apart from our spouses waiting for time to pass us by. It's a year or more of our lives that have gone to waste because we wanted them over and done with asap. We'll never get that time back.

Congrats! I heard about the shooting incident near Seattle.

This worries me a lot since we're moving to Seattle (once I get the visa).

My Canadian friends tell me not to go to the mall or movie theater in the US if I don't want to get shot.

Just needed a place to post this. This process sucks. My three kids are separated from their dad while we wait. My OH was visiting last week and I saw such a huge improvement in one of the kids. My eldest has really been struggling without her dad, we are in a new country, at a new school, trying to make new friends and this process seems to be taking its toll on her. I just can't understand how we can be married for 10 years and this process still takes us nearly a year (and counting). I just want this to be over, if not for me, for my kids.

I no longer feel bad about you almost becoming the world record holder of the longest wait time to pay the IV fee.

Hi Soloenta sweetie, how are you doing.

I agree with Skype. We have Skyped everyday for the past year. On weekends it can be for a couple of hours whilst some weekdays it might only be for five minutes. I always make sure the children speak to him and I must say it has made the separation definitely more manageable. To boot, it is free!

I think of you often. You are such an Inspiration to so many on VJ. I know that that is no consolation and doesn't make the journey any easier for you but know that we are all here for you.

I pray you get thru this process soonest. No matter how long this immigration process may look or take, one thing am so sure about is that NVC can't hold you forever. You are definitely going to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I'll be saying a special prayer for you today in church.

Sorry to say I'm not invested in other people which I have only seen go in to say CC now waiting for interview hahahaha. You guys are very special to me, family. There is a good chance that NVC will start scheduling Dec interviews from the 28th, 29th, 30th, or 31st (if not, early next month).

If you get a CC tomorrow or Tuesday, you'll be just in time for Dec interview scheduling. Fingers crossed!
