Aww... I can totally feel your excitement over the computer screen. Not even kidding lol.

Now I am sooo excited I can't sleep! 5am and my eyes are still wide opened! I had a mini crisis situation in the evening as I couldn't find a descent flight - one that does not require you to sell one of your kidneys or to visit 3 european countries in 24 hours. But after 2 hours on the phone with my husband we made it! We found a flight for Monday!

I guess you and your husband are ready to book the flight! Your goodbye on Monday will be the easiest ever! You'll only be separated for a few days hopefully! ;-) Thanks for sharing my excitement!

He is a US citizen, lived in the UK, now moved back to the US. I am French, we met in 2010 in the UK and got married in March 2013 in France.

Case complete on july 10th and still did not get interview date. :/

I haven't gotten mine either and my consulate is Kuala Lumpur, pretty quiet and definitely not back-logged :(

I would contact both embassies and verify they sent their September schedules to NVC. Meanwhile, I would ask for a supervisor to enquire about the scheduling delay.

Someone mentioned that an embassy in Pakistan, I believe, cancelled Aug 1-8 appointments, so that could be a factor for some of the delayed scheduling.

Arghh... sometimes even when we venture, nothing is gained! They told me citizen and immigrant services are only up to 11 am. Need to call back on Monday. I bet you're right and they're just holidaying after having forgotten to send the schedule. They were off Monday and Tuesday for Eid and Friday is long lunch for prayers. I guess I'll have to wait for Monday!

Hey folks! Our case got completed on 1st July (confirmed by phone) and we got the CC email on 8th July. Our interview hasn't been scheduled yet. I called up NVC and they said that they are waiting to schedule the interview, and then they will physically send the file to the embassy. Today I called the embassy and they said that they have to receive the file first and then they schedule an interview date.

Which one is right? What should we do now?

All advice greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot.

Yes, embassy people are right, first an interview will be scheduled by NVC then within a week your case file will be send to the local consulate.

Even I am waiting for my interview schedule, but unfortunately NVC has not scheduled any Mumbai interview in this slot, hope to see some today and hopefully next week too.

Hi Everyone! :D

MANY, MANY CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE INTERVIEWS SCHEDULED, APPROVED & VISAS RECEIVED!!!! :) Gives ya so much hope where it had felt lost, (like this torture is never going to end)!

When I posted the other day about me being so worried for my husband, traveling to Jerusalem, it seems I was being overly paranoid, like usual. As it turns out, my uncle and young cousin got a week's permission to go there. They took the trip and posted pics on FB. So, i think i was reading too much into the news articles. I thank you all for your support. It was so kind and moving to receive it. ❤️

I need to bring my sons revised I864 EZ at the interview..my problem is since he is deployed now in afghanistan and always in the field i cant get his original signature..will his official orders cover the signature problem..my daughter in law sent me a copy of his official orders...please advice if any one has been in the same situation...Thanks

LOLLLL at your statement about plane tickets. I said the exact same thing to my husband. Either we sell an organ or you get on a plane and only arrive like 36 hours later lol.

Did you receive your package yet?? I'm in a bit of a pickle. My husband is supposed to receive his Monday, the day I leave. So he can't take me to the airport because he needs to be home to receive the envelope. We basically don't have anyone who can drive me 2 1/2 hours to the airport. If he had the Visa already we would catch a train the day before and stay at the airport hotel (which is what I will have to end up doing alone). We want to see if there is any way that he can go pick up the envelope at their main office. It is supposed to arrive in the country today since last night it got on a plane.

This truly is a lot of work. But I'm so grateful that my one concern right now is just tracking the Visa and not wondering if he'll ever get it.
