Yep... just found out today. Embassy calendar here is free beyond Aug 14th, so I'm definitely planning to ask for an early date once NVC mindlessly throw the dart at September calendar.

The post office in Paris received the package an hour ago! Perhaps you'll receive it tomorrow! :-)

He is a US citizen, lived in the UK, now moved back to the US. I am French, we met in 2010 in the UK and got married in March 2013 in France.

We got our P4 interview letter today, they sent it to my husband and my husband forwarded it to me and to my surprise there was some mistake because on the interview letter NVC marked the Beneficiary Birth certficate U ( You indicated this document was unavailable. The consular officer will decide whether to waive the requirement for this document at your interview ) and also the Marriage certificate A ( Obtain this document and present it at your interview ) But we submitted both the Original and photocopy of the beneficiary birth certificate to NVC and also submitted Original Marriage certificate with the translated copy that have been translated into English fully notarized and apostilled. So i am surprised they wrote this. We only have the photocopy of our marriage certificate and photocopy of the translation and also photocopy of the birth certificate. Does it mean they have lost our originals? i am so confused

They mark those wrong all the time and find them. Good you have photocopies just have for the interview you will be fine.

Today we knew our interview date-September 23 but we dont have the e-mail yet.

I wonder when we should call the embassy for earlier date?

Well not until your Case-file is in the hands of the embassy you can call. Once there that's when you start bugging them. It may go out today or next week. Keep eye on your Visa tracker site.

I think my journey is over (at least until the time comes to apply for the removal of conditions). My wife arrived yesterday at 3pm which is pretty much a year exactly since my first priority date for the NOA1 :) Keep your chins up guys. Your day will come soon!
