Dear FD & MDVL - well you don't have to physically move to the August Interview forum - since the July one just rolls over all by itself. I would think that a July interview has only a slim possibility at this point. Perhaps it is better to expect an August interview date, and then get very, very excited if a July one comes through. It's usually 4-6 weeks from the time you find out that your case is complete.

I'm glad you finally have CC! It's such an exciting thing to happen. But of course, you then start pining for your interview letter!!!

looking at the spreadsheet I could only find ONE previous listing for HONDURAS and it was 3/4 complete to 4/9 interview- 36 days-

the advice you are giving is similar advice I give- under promise and over deliver-- EXCEPT when it is my interview- I can NOT help but BELIEVE I will have a July interview and be dissappointed for a few minutes if I dont get it..LOL

Hooray to all of those who have received their case completes and are waiting for their interviews! And I'm keeping all of you in my thoughts who are still waiting.

I'm leaving tomorrow evening (I suppose this evening, now that it's after midnight, haha) for Montreal - my interview is on Monday morning. I spent tonight gathering and organizing all of my paperwork, making sure I wasn't missing anything crucial. We've been reading up on consulate reviews, and though we're both feeling super nervous still - nerves won't seem to go away - I know that everything is going to go smoothly.

Oh, and the medical exam in Surrey was not only a breeze, but Dr. Cheema was absolutely fantastic. I was very pleased with the whole experience!

Must be paid online.

I would never ever pay the fee ($165 x 6 for us) unless I have our visas in hand. In fact, I plan to delay it until after POE just in case. We plan to rush POE anyway so the kids could start their school year ASAP (we'll miss it's start for sure with all this NVC foot dragging).

So...what does one bring to an IR-1/CR-1 interview? Other than copies of everything that has already been submitted, is there really a need to bring huge amounts of documentation to prove that we have a bona fide marriage?

We are planning to attend the interview together. We will bring wedding photos, and we have tons of co-mingled finances proving that we've been together for more than 5 years (married for 1 year, 4 months).

The only thing we submitted with my I-130 was our marriage certificate.

Australia is a low risk country, and even with greater openness these days, I don't think there are many 60-year-old same-sex couples trying to sneak into the US...

Thoughts anyone?

start applying soon. It takes same amount time like your first report. yes you need copy of previous PR and reference #. makesure that you fill new form same as previous. I hope you have copy of previous form. don't miss anything.

You can't pay the ELIS fee until you have your passports back anyway, you'll need the A number on the visa in order to register online and make payment.

I don't think you'll have any problems with what you're planning to bring. London is low fraud as well and there was no interest whatsoever in relationship evidence at that stage. The only paperwork they asked for was interview letter and courier receipt. Although I made sure he had copies of everything we submitted through the process, we didn't worry about new photos, letters, etc. and the CO had no interest in any of it anyway. What you'll have on hand in addition to the fact that you'll be together should be great.

Very unlikely since the window of time is smaller and smaller. For almost all embassies to be in the interview queue for current month they are scheduling you need to be done by 15th.

They should be starting with August scheduling next Thursday I am estimating (I am pretty accurate on this). So just hold on.

And being here for August Interview thread not so bad we are a fun bunch.

Congratulations to all who received their interview dates for July. My wife's interview is on July 3rd at Islamabad. I had a couple questions; How much is the fee for the actual VISA? What should she be looking forward to in terms of the interview questions? I know there is an interview guide but I wanted to know and find out from those VJ members whose significant others had their interviews recently.
