Congratulations on the birth of your baby girl!

I think you should be proactive with NVC and notify everyone and their dog of the birth of your baby girl, who by the way is a US citizen born abroad. The process for getting her US birth certificate from the US consulate is different and it may take few weeks. Call the US consulate and ask for the procedure and details on consular report of birth abroad. Check the info below if you haven't done so. Congratulations again!

Hello guys..Interview scheduled for July 18th... :dancing::clock:

Huge congratulations!

I cannot believe you don't have this IV invoice yet. We got ours exactly 1 calendar month from doing DS-261. I am watching you closely.

Yeah, it really bites. I could never get anyone to track down my original confirmation, (most of them wouldn't even let me read the confirmation number to them) so I'm presuming that I'll get it sometime near a month after the resubmit date of May 21. I'm so angry about it, but trying to get anyone at NVC to do anything about it was just making me angrier, so I decided to just tough it out.

Thanks for the good vibes. Believe me, there will be dancing sunglasses men when they finally let me pay that $&@%# fee!

Is your timeline updated?

Well, it's because many of us have been waiting for the IV fee invoice and not much to report rather than "Yep, I'm still waiting. Grrrrr!!!" :bonk:

Plus, many active people on this thread got a CC last month or early this month. :ph34r:

Well, it's getting easier for me to keep up with this thread because there are fewer postings to read! :rofl:

That's true. I've noticed not many have asked questions either! Maybe it's because you all can't do anything because they're taking forever to invoice! ;)

CASE COMPLETE!! as of yesterday... :dancing::) .. AOS checklist was scanned on may 16

That's great news!! Congratulations!!!!

Just got off the phone with NVC.

The representative told me my AOS scanned date of 05/19 has "almost finished processing" and that "its at the tail of it" and

concluded by saying "You will hear something fairly soon"

So I am keeping my fingers crossed. Hopefully by Friday I should hear back from them. Just one more step in getting case complete.

Call back today! *Fingers crossed* for no checklist :).

The only part where which tax form was filed is important is on the question about the three previous years' tax income.

You should be an immigration lawyer Saylin, it's sad to hear all about these lawyers that make mistakes on all the paperwork lately!

supervisor review going on it's 4th week... yay <_<

Call back and ask to speak to a supervisor to see where it is?

Great news!! We got a case complete. May 19th for us. We are so excited!! :goofy::dance::goofy:

Congratulations!!! :dancing:

Hello guys..Interview scheduled for July 18th... :dancing::clock:

Slow start on the NVC front today... Didn't turn the phones on until 7.04. Fortunately I now know the hold music so well these days that I was able to mange to concentrate on tv while on hold rather than staring st the iPad willing someone to answer!

Carla (is she new?) told me to wait 30 business days then call back....umm... Yeah, thanks, I'll speak to you tomorrow. Cheers.

30 business days is their standard answer. It's actually currently taking 30 calendar days for packages to be reviewed.

That's correct, for my records I keep note of date sent, date delivered (by Fedex/USPS etc) then the date they receive/match/scan it is when the 30 days start. It's approx 1 week between delivery and "scan" for each of my docs. Seems to be about 3-4 weeks for review.

Good morning (or afternoon, or evening) everyone! Seems like NVC has had a sluggish start this week on top of their generally sluggish performance, hopefully they'll pick it up for the last half and get the good news rolling. Just thought I'd send some good vibes out into the ether since I've been a lurker the last few days :)
