CONGRATS !!!!

When did you get the supervisor involved? and how long did it take ?

THANK YOU!! I'm soo freaking happy right now!

I called on 04/30/2014, they had only received one package from me on 04/17/2014, even though the AOS package had arrived on 04/10/2014 and IV package arrived on 04/14/2014. on 04/28/2014, they approved the AOS, but said we have one package that arrived on 04/17/2014 which has not been reviewed. That is when the supervisor was involved and said, the AOS never got scanned, it was directly approved.

if you haven't called yet, call today. I think you will have a case complete right now too!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

That is a long time to be waiting...but you are almost there.

I know.. I was hoping for a June Interview.. sigh.. we'll see what happens!

any advice on what to do, should I call them tonight or tomorrow morning to try and ask about the interview? or should I just wait?

Hello all,

In 1 week I will send my supporting documentation to NVC.

My interview will be in Nairobi,Kenya.

Lately I have been checking the news about Kenya and it is very scary.

i want to know who i can call or email to change the country for my interview.

if NVC transfer my file to another us embassy in different country for my interview will it take longer, how much longer?

Thank you for your help.

The process of IR-1/CR-1 is long,it's moving slowly but surely.

To clarify, the issue is that the site seems to be down -- I'm wondering if this is a problem for anything else or maybe it is a regional issue?

I didn't see anything about this in the Wiki.

I'm not able to access the site either. I keep getting a "Connection was Reset" error on various browsers. Grr.

To clarify, the issue is that the site seems to be down -- I'm wondering if this is a problem for anything else or maybe it is a regional issue?

I didn't see anything about this in the Wiki.

The poster was referring to this in the wiki:

quote:

  • Note: if you're getting an error message ("Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time…" or "This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted…" or "You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information."), do NOT panic. This is actually good news! If you just got your case number, then this message means NVC is inputting your case in their system. If you get this message a few days after case number generation, then it's a good possibility that NVC is invoicing your AOS bill. And if this message appears a few days after DS-261 acceptance, then there's a good chance the IV bill is being invoiced.

However, it does sound as if there are some other technical issues accounting for problems today

Has anyone else had to wait a much longer time for the IV to show as paid lately? The AOS Fee showed as paid after 2-3 business days, but it seems like the IV Fee is taking much longer.

You could try an Internet cafe to dial the number using Google Hangouts. You don't need a phone to dial using Hangouts. It works perfectly using a web browser on a PC.
