If your wife is this sick and needs surgery isn't it best she gets back to US and gets this taken care of immediately. Since your Moter0-in-law has your whole packet what will you do now?

If she is this hateful all this information in her hands can be a dangerous thing for you two. She now has all your personal information. Your parents and then some. You need to get that back from her have her send to your cousin or something. You also need a new I-130 at least and change the address in US to your cousins.

I pray your mother in law doesn't cause trouble for you. All the best.
