We got approval today! It was an easy one and the consular officer was really nice. He asked me a few questions regarding my relationship with my fiance. If you have a real genuinely relationship you can passed the interview as well. The funny part was, the consular officer was talking to the other guy in front of me and probably he did not know that I could hear their conversation.content.gif before he interviewed me. (there is a glass window between me and these consular officers) .

He talked to the guy that our case was straight forward and don't have complicated things (we've been together for over 5 years, both of us have never been married before, and he is in the military). I think he taught the guy for his job, probably a new guy. He also mentioned about my job. He told the guy that I have a great job as a journalist (an editor) in my country and not some kind person who just wants come to the US.

The best part when he asked me," when the last time I saw my fiance and I replied back, just a moment ago. He is in waiting room now". After he told me I have got approved, he asked me to ask my fiance came in to share the good news. He said to my fiance," thank you for serving the country, Sir". That was one of the best moments at the interview. I cried and hugged my fiance in front of the consular officers, dead.gifdead.gifdead.gif . He asked me to pick up my passport with the visa on January 24.

I will posted the review later on Indonesia consulate portal. I just wanted to enjoy time together with my fiance and have some relax. Thank you Visa Journey, Vjers, and all people who helped my fiance and I through this journey.
