Good Morning:

Your N-400 was accepted by the lockbox on December 19, 2013, and receipt number NBC*xxxxxxxxx was assigned. The application will be sent to the National Benefits Center for further processing.

You can follow the progress of this application/petition by visiting our website, www.uscis.gov/tools, and clicking on Check your case status online. If you need additional assistance you can call USCIS Customer Service at (800) 375-5283 or use the InfoPass system on our website to make an appointment at your local USCIS office. Once a petition has been accepted, the Lockbox has no information on the adjudication process.

I would say that it's cheaper for USCIS to send a copy rather then printing it on the old style of papers. Saving money. I could be wrong but it makes sense to me lol.

Hey guys - I am so relieved! I'm glad I had sent an email to the Lockbox Support people in Lewisville on the 15th inquiring about the mistake the clerk made in my envelope.

They just replied to my email (!!!) saying they did receive it yesterday, and telling me the case number it was assigned, and also saying they will forward it to the National Benefits Center for further processing. Where/what is the NBC? - I forgot.

Oh just checked, and check was also cashed today. Updating status below.

Thanks gringa! I know right? It it our last time, hopefully! I might do a walk-in for biometrics on the first week of January as I start a new job on Jan. 6th and don't want to be late for work on my 1st-2nd week at the new company.

Hey i just got a copy of a reciept for my biometric on the 2 january and i dont know why they dont send tlolhe original instead a copy..does anyone knows why..!
