IV bill received and paid, woot woot!

Yes, if you meet the criteria then use it. The form is so much simpler. We used it.

Awesome, someone that is using the same form as me. Do you have the old version of this document (I-864EZ)..since NVC is having problems with the new AOS forms...i think I should send the old one. If you do, can u send me a link or where to find it? Thanks!

Saylin, does it sound to you like the Embassy is going to approve the Visa, we just got this email:

"We’re working on your case thoroughly in order to give a positive issue quickly,

Thank you for your information,"

I wouldnt count too much on what DOS say.

I called today to see whether they had any news from Paris as our case was expedited there and we re still waiting for an interview date....

Anyways, the CSO at DOS asked me what my other name was (she meant my maiden name), to which I gave it. THen she said that my package was received in Paris on May 8th and that they';re now waiting for me to send Package 3.

First of all, on May 8th my case still at the NVC (we had just sent our AOS) and secondly, we do not have any Package 3 as we're filing IR1 and IR2s.....

How abismal is that?! I dont even know if the girl had opened our case....

I'm going to call up again to see if I can get some accurate information this time...

By the way Denise, when did you actually email the Embassy? I emailed them on Tuesday and still waiting for an answer...

Is it ok to send Old one?

Yes becoz per the uscis website they are accepting the old ones (there is no definite time that they will stop accepting the old ones in terms of I-864EZ). You can check this on the uscis website if u like.

Darnell, do you remember writing about the very last step before a case leaves the USCIS being that they place a bar code on the packet? Can you send me the link, or refresh my memory on exactly what it's called?

I just went through ~250 pages of the NVC Filers threads for the last two months, and couldn't find it, so it could have been in some other thread.

Our case is still not at NVC, so I wanted to follow up with our congressional inquiry to check with the local office again on that bar code thingy.

Our AOS, DS3032, 230 were sent by mail in 20th may, delivered by 22th, just called to NVC, it's still pending, information wasnt set to system yet.... The girl on line said it may take 3-6 weeks... not suresleepy.gif

Cool. Good Luck for preparation. I am just waiting for AOS invoice to show up, and yet to receive DS3032 acceptance. I hope to get that done soon.
