Yesterday I called NVC asking for my Case Number. The girl told me I will hear something in about 10-20 days. Today I received the e-mail with all the information!!!!!! I am so happy right now!!!!!!

IV packet accepted with in only the notarized copy of the birth certificate.

I have a question, If I pay the AOS and IV bills now, do I have to print the cover sheet right away or can I log on from a different computer and print it! I don't have a printer at my place but want to pay now! Is it like download-able and save-able :)??

U can sign in anytime from any computer and print them , dont worry .

There is an email option too. I did that. Emailed them to my home and work email because I don't have a printer at home.


USCIS - 66 days ROC - 139 days from sent to approved
12/3/2012 - I-130 delivered to Chicago 5/20/15: mailed I-751 package to California office
12/4/2012 - NOA1 NBC (Missouri Service Center MSC) 5/22/15: Date on NOA1
12/6/2012 - Check cashed 8/26/15: Bio appointment

12/8/2012 - Received paper NOA1 10/06/15: Received Email card was being processed
12/20/2012 - Case number showed up on USCIS website
1/29/2013 - Called USCIS and case is still at NBC
2/8/2013 - Received an Email that we were approved on 2/7/13
3/5/2013 - Told file may have been "misplaced" to email NOA2 to NCVresearch
3/7/2013 - ISO at the USCIS opened a service request to try to track down
if and when the file was shipped. Should hear something before 3/26 ( so she said)

good.gif Exactly. Send them together, send them separately - it makes no difference.

I sent it to the IV address (attn CMR), had no problem, but don't know if it was the best choice (my packages were reviewed rather quickly though, 2 weeks).

but u put the respective addresses on the back of each envelop right? thank you! ;-)

Well, even as a LPR, you're still not immigrating to the US as you have a green card. That question is for those non-US citizens/residents.

Yup, just bring the updated forms to the interview!

NVC focuses on current income. My husband was below the poverty line in 2 out of the 3 previous years, and was just barely over the recent year. But his current income was almost double over (due to getting a higher paid job). We had absolutely no issues at NVC, nor the embassy. But your embassy may be stricter than Montreal, so you'd probably pass NVC alright, but not sure about your embassy.
