actually i didn't use DHL before but i can tell that Fedex are great i sent also my i-130 with fedex and also took only 2 days i think that it is also cheaper Than DHL but it all returns to you. i am just sharing my experience

How much did it cost u to send via fedex ... i sure need the cheaper option

I wanted to know if it is worth stressing calling everyday to know if my case is complete since anyway it is the interview that will be the long pole...

Thoughts? Just tired of hearing 20 biz days :-)

You don't need to create your own bar-coded cover sheets anymore. That portion of the guide is YEARS old. It's for back when you couldn't make payments online; you could only send checks and money orders. And then you'd have to wait for NVC to receive it and then mail you back the bar-coded cover sheets. Someone discovered a way to create bar codes, so when they confirmed with an operator that the bill was accepted, they'd then send in the respective package with the created bar codes, thus saving a few days from waiting to receive the NVC bar codes in the mail.

But, with the payment portal now, the bar codes are available as soon as one pays (which is done online now), so there's zero need to create your own.

It's the IV information package.

You can change your address as often as you want. No need to submit multiple DS-3032s. Just one is needed. Just call NVC and update them with the new address, that's all. And if you change address again before the interview, make sure the beneficiary has an updated I-864 and DS-230 for the interview with the new address.

First off, you need a valid reason for expediting. It can't just be because you want to be with your loved one sooner. Otherwise we'd all be expediting! As far as I know, you do NOT need to be a citizen to expedite, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Thank you for the reply. Well I didn't have to call, My wife and I just got two emails about sending the affidavit of support and how to pay and contacting them regarding the choice of agent. So roughly it takes about 10-15 biz days for you to get a case #, after NVC receives it. Our NOA was March 4. Received by NVC on March 11, Got the email on March 28 but on March 27 I think our case # was already available since I called and NVC started to ask our details before proceeding with the call. Updating my timeline now lolz....

No, just high school and up. Don't include elementary or middle school.

yes for the two packages they will give you a big envelope where you can put two separate envelopes inside but be sure that the Cover sheet is the first paper in every package simple as that

as you know that the difference in the address is only in the att department part so on the big envelope you write the Main address which is National visa center 131....... once they open the package at the NVC they will find the two packages the cover sheet will probably route each package to the correct att department. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. gd luck with it

Got a reply from the congressman. The NVC and the USCIS cannot track down my file. Essentially, its lost. The liaison will let me know the next steps tomorrow. Full fledged depression now. BS!!!
