03/23/2022: Application for passport submitted at USPS facility under standard processing.

04/04/2022: Status changed to “The U.S. Department of State has received your application for your passport book on 04/04/2022. We're now reviewing your application and supporting documents...Your application locator number is 51*******.

04/04/2022: Check for passport cashed.

05/03/2022: Status changed to "The U.S. Department of State approved your application for your passport book. We're now printing your passport book and preparing to give it to you. You should receive your passport book on or around 05/09/2022."

05/05/2022: Passport Received.

05/09/2022: SSA Citizenship Status Updated.

05/25/2022: Naturalization Certificate received in mail.

Relationship and I-130 Process

Sometime in October, 2011: We met online talking about Argentina.
Later in October: Met in person in Philadelphia and became good friends.
March 4, 2012: Became girlfriend and boyfriend, officially.
March 21: Gloria leaves the US at the end of her J-1 Visa.
April 9: Got engaged!
May 12-26: Chris visits Buenos Aires.
May 18: Got married in Argentina :) Happy day!!
May 29: Sent out I-130
June 4: NOA1 received.
August 17-20: Chris visits again.
September 22-29: Chris 3rd visit, Gloria's birthday!
November 11-January 5: Chris stays in Argentina almost 2 months, Gloria is happy!
December 28: NOA2 YAY!!!
December 31: Package received at NVC.
January 18, 2013: Got case # and IIN.
February 6: Case complete!!
February 11: Interview assigned.
February 25: Package received at Embassy in Buenos Aires.
March 18: Interview Approved!!
March 28: Visa received.
March 29: Houston POE

April 11: received greencard!!!!!!!

January 9, 2015: sent out form I-751

Thank you guys! It means so much to have "strangers" sharing my happiness! I'm putting all my positive energy for all the VSC May and June filers :)

We've been through a lot! VSC if finally picking up though, so don't despair, your NOA2s are on their way :)

I didn't cook anything special. I had a couple of cupcakes to celebrate, though :) I'll make the good food when my husband comes in the US, haven't seen him in over a year now :( I'm hoping that the rest of the Visa journey won't take as long as the VSC I-130 processing :yes:

VSC filers don't despair! Your time is coming!!!!!

I'm so excited :)

Hang in there!!!!!

Congrats!!!!!! The rest of the process won't take as long,so you'll be with your loved one soon :)

I hope you have everything ready for the NVC, join the thread for Jan and be proactive, take the time to read the #1 and #2 post, specially the part about submitting the DS-3032 email it can make a 3 week wait/delay almost a thing of days as it did with me.

Congrats, happy to finally see some other June approvals!!!
