I think you meant your I-130 application was approved. Visa will be approved once you've gone through interview at your consulate.

Once it's completed by NVC it will be forwarded to your consulate and then they'll contact you for scheduled interview.

Thanks a lot,you are right , my I-130 was approved,but how many months you think I have yo wait to get my visa?

2012 Nov Filers NVC

May 24, 2011 NOA1

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

PLEASE EDIT YOUR TIMELINE IN YOUR PROFILE SO OTHERS CAN LEARN HOW LONG EACH STEP TAKES IN THIS PROCESS

each consulate is different. You just had the petition approved, now the case goes to NVC where you will send the I 864 affidavit of support, supporting documents and pay the fees. Then on to the embassy for interview. At least another 6 weeks for NVC then you wait for it interview at the consulate. It will be at least another 8 weeks before you get to the interview stage. Please fill in your timeline

congrats on your I 130 approval :dance: :dance:

from my experience, after NOA2 it took me more than 4 months to get the visa..just look at my timeline :thumbs: ..

after NOA2 your case goes to NVC, but Please note that every case is different and it is NOT possible to predict the time frame.. it depends on how fast you respond the process on NVC Stage and also it depends on the consulate you go to in your country, if you got approved on your interview, it takes a couple of days to get your visa..

Also scheduling of interview is embassy specific get through NVC first than in about 4 to 6 weeks you'll have a better footing maybe how long.
