I'm trying to figure out how to track that package from DHL from husband (DS-230 package) and I have no tracking number. Lord help me.

The Man better give over the DHL tracking number within the next 24 hours.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Congratulations !

Now that you have an interview date, you can EMAIL the IV unit and ask for an earlier date.

If they can accomodate you, they will.

No need to say the reason, just ask for earlier date.

Nah. We'll just go on and wait patiently for it to come. We've been apart 17 months and 6 days now... what's another 4-5 months of waiting?

The Interview Threads were started around the time my group was waiting on interviews. At that time (around September) the NVC seemed to be on an indefinite HOLD and there were a lot of people waiting. I put up the first spread sheet...and a fire seemed to break out. Once the interviews started being issued, the forum exploded and it was so exciting seeing so many getting their dates at one time, that we have just continued to do it. But if you'll notice.....when the questions come up about NVC, I refer them back to Saylin's instruction page....I, keep up with you after the case complete! (Well, that is unless I'm out for my own interview. :D) Point is...none of us could have got through NVC without her thread!

Well shoot -- thanks for starting them!!! They've been both a blessing a curse.

And poutine!

And pupusas!!

Anyone else from the UK in this thread? It would be nice to have something to compare to once case complete is given. :)

Up until the IV bill we have done everything at our own pace, so don't freak out when you see our timeline. We had major financial difficulties which hindered us from going at a steady pace. We are now in a position to move forward. IV Bill and beyond will hopefully go quickly.

Is it true when DHL gets here USPS takes over or what? I haven't seen a DHL truck in like years. Just wondering. It's coming to my work and USPS comes like around this time.

Just got the Embassy notice. We're going on January 15 at 8:00. The timeline is updated and I can hardly wait to tell my sweetheart the good news. AT LAST the time is known and arrangements can be made for the travel. NVC does seem to be picking up the pace a lot now cause I was not expecting the Notice of Appointment until the end of this week.

When you see that P4 for neopost DS-1200 what does that indicate in the title (or is this Embassy exclusive?).

Thank you Salin for being a comfort to us. :D I was avoiding tall building for a while trying to get through the Checklists.

I am going through all the interview preparation posts to make sure everything is in order for my interview in two weeks. One of the threads reads that you need to arrange for fingerprints before the interview and that you will be told how to. I never got any information about that. Is it true that this has to be done? If so, where?

What else should I prepare for the interview? What are the essentials? I only received an email from NVC, nothing from the NVC and there is no information on what to bring or prepare.

Just a quick update--my husband made it through the POE yesterday in Dallas, and he is now HOME at LAST! It took him about an hour, which was mainly due to the queue. The actual POE part went quickly, he says. Of course, while waiting with our luggage, I managed to drop and break a bottle of duty-free wine and all our bags (and the Customs area of DFW airport) smelled like a winery. Go me. But at least he's here!

It's so weird having him just in the other room, snoozing on the sofa and watching South Park. No more staying up until 4 or 5 am to voicechat! I can just holler "Hey babe!" and he hollers back :)

So many thanks to everyone here for the help and support. Saylin, you are a goddess.

Now for a visa break until it's time to get to work on the next phase of the process. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting!

Unless that's Germany-specific, I've never heard of that before.

As for what to bring, it's in the interview letter. All you can prepare besides documents is to practice interview questions. There's a link to an extensive list on the first post.

The fingerprinting thing is in the link posted by you at the beginning of this thread.

As for what the interview letter says - it doesn't really say anything. It seems like NVC has all the documents needed for the interview and if they made it to Frankfurt there seems to be nothing for me to take except my passport. Does that seem right?
