when you filed the I 130, the beneficiary only send the passport photos 5x5,fill the form of G 325A and copy of marriage certificate with english translation..but the petitioner needs to send Copy of the full Birth certificate (front and back) for the US Citizen or a copy of ALL pages of the US Citizen's passport.

Forms Needed to File for a IR-1 / CR-1 Visa you can check on this link : http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1

the beneficiary birth certificate will be need it when you filed IV package at NVC stage..it's best to send the original birth certificate instead of the certified birth certificate and send it with english translation..if you want to send the certified birth certificate on your IV package, don't forget to bring the original at the interview :)

Good Luck :star:

i send a birth certificate of beneficiary when i filled the I-130 because she had a name change, so if in case i send the original one to USCIS, do we get it back at the interview stage.

there is no need to send the beneficiary birth certificate at this stage. Only the NVC requires it.

Certified translation, not "notarized translation". Exception is China where the translations must be done by a Notary. Do not send original civil documents with petitions. Those are needed at the NVC stage, for the foreigner and never needed for the petitioner.

Not necessary and no you would not get it. Save the original for the NVC stage their you have to submit originals.

My husband the beneficiary has a family name change also. The court papers are being submitted at the NVC level to showthe name change.

Those appear to be scans of passport pages. A passport photo is just a photo of you that is suitable for a passport. 5X5 means 5cm X 5cm or 2 in. X 2 inch. In short you send a passport photo of you and one of your spouse. The photos will look like you and like your spouse, not like passport pages.

If you can get the copy certified, then you're better off than sending just a plain copy. The officers at the USCIS need to know for sure that it's a true copy of the original.

All the best on your visa journey!!
