Yup. I feel your pain. We feel your pain.

It's kind of silly, but I've built up this picture in my mind of a diverse group of people in various countries all over the world...simultaneously sitting in front of our computers, sipping a coffee/tea/whatever near a window with a tree outside...and calmly but firmly hitting the refresh button on their browser on both this forum and uscis.gov every few minutes...like a cat staring at a bug inching slowly across the floor...waiting...ready to move when the moment is right...

It brings me a bit a peace to know that my wife and I are not alone, that much of this stress is shared.

Soon...

Hi,

Thought I should let you know that my MSC number for K3 showed up today and has the same message I got for my I-130 it says the same thing the only difference is the date, it was changed one day before my I-130, does yours show up too?? Oh god, I hope this means that I'm gonna get my approval soon..

Likewise, I sometimes wonder if I am being obsessive and crazy about this and whether I should only be checking the website once a week. I check like 5 times a day on working days. I almost fell off my chair when I saw that it had been touched today (last time was when they updated the address)! Then I opened it and nothing had changed. :crying: With my I-129F no one touched it from the beginning of May until it was approved in November.

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

Nope, still not status for our I-129f MSC number. Will post back when (if?!?!?) it changes. I have no idea what this means for you, if anything.

(The the bug actually move? Or did it just twitch its antenni?)

The little details:

  • ~15 October: Posted I-130 from Switzerland to Chicago Lockbox
  • 29 October: I-130 NOA1 with MSC receipt number
  • early November Posted I-129f from Switzerland to Texas Lockbox
  • 15 November I-129f NOA1 with MSC receipt number
  • 23 November I-130 "your Alien Registration Number was changed"
  • 15 December I-130 MSC# finally online, in "Initial Review"
  • 27 December I-130 NOA2

Congrats to those who got approved, it makes me hopeful! good.gif

I called today and after an hour wait (of course), I got a lady who was more than hurrying me off the phone.

Anyway, she said that cases are transferred to local offices and sometimes just for one small thing and then transferred back (although mine is still in the NYC office since Nov 28th). She also said don't worry about not being able to track it online, and if you want, you can email the webmaster at uscis.webmaster@dhs.gov for assistance, to include your receipt number. She then quickly said thank you for calling and CLICK.... hung up. Sigh. mad.gif

Everyone who's been approved, how many days did your case get transferred to your local office before you got notice of approval? I am just trying to be hopeful... it's been 3 weeks already... blush.gif
