Sorry folks for the delay in updates.

Went to Ghana and was there for the interview. Packet of evidence spoke for itself and brought the interview down to 2 questions only.

1) Have you been married before?

2) Has your fiance been married before?

I will provide the embassy experience tomorrow, feeling jet lagged tonight.

Congratulations to you. I am thinking of going there myself as well. can you please list the evidence you took along? this will help some of us.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I was wondering why we hadn't heard from you!! LOL! I was thinking oh no, the interview must didn't go well :wacko:

But I am glad to hear that she was approved and now onto to the next step: Passport pickup!! Yay that much closer to being reunited with your loved one!!

NOA1: 4/23/2013

Received RFE: 5/13/2013 (We forgot to include proof of citizenship of co-sponsor)

Mailed our response to the RFE: 5/15/2013 (We sent the co-sponsor's U.S. birth certificate)

Biometrics Appointment: 5/20/13

EAD: arrived 6/24/13

AOS: APPROVED! No interview! Approval (NOA-1 letter)Date: 9/24/2013

2 year conditional green card received 09/2013.

10 year permanent residency approved 2016.

Congratulations to you. I am thinking of going there myself as well. can you please list the evidence you took along? this will help some of us.

Pictures: dated and labeled chronologically with stickies. Engagement pictures with family members also grouped

Call logs: MTN, AT&T, T-mobile, Calling Card, Skype call log, Viber call snapshots, google voice call logs. (High lighted both our numbers on all sheets)

Emails from both of us (list and sample content, facebook communication, twitter communication, Whatsapp texts, Viber texts, skype chats.

Moneygram log I requested from Moneygram

Hand written letters spanning 10 years

Greeting cards

Copies from customs stamped pages in my passport showing my various trips to Ghana over the years

Boarding passes

NOA1 and NOA2

Finances:

Pay stubs, letter of job offer, employment verification, 401k statement, bank letter and statement, W2s, Tax transcript for 4 years, notarized Tax returns for 4 years

I think that covers it all :). We had a lot of evidence available so didn't want to leave anything out. Seems overwhelming but they were very well organized with most relevant being at the top of each stack and the sticky labels visible. The had her remove them from the folder we used so that helped.

They took all, except the Bank letter, back account statement and W2 which the lady said wasn't necessary
