We just *wish* we could move to the other list. Alas, no touches in ages and our case status reads "this case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred"

been like that for a while...

of course, if it changes, you becha we'll tell you and there will be no mistaking.

CSC email

Be sure to include the full name of the petitioner, the receipt number and the "A" number else they will respond that they do not reply to emails... Don't ask, it's what they do. We found that being short and sweet on our question got us a response.

Good luck and let us know what they say.

Unfortunately, they don't reply to e-mails. I e-mailed them to make sure they actually received the AOS package as it was a month and a half since it was sent there with no word as to whether they received it or not. They responded that they don't respond to e-mails.

If you've received a pending status, there's not much they can do. They won't tell you where it is, what it's doing, how much longer, if it's stuck in name checks, etc. If you feel you're outside the processing times (which you are not...they are processing cases from December currently), then going through your senators is the best bet to get any information about your case. E-mailing or calling USCIS is absolutely pointless.

I am praying that we will hear something soon......there were a lot of approvals yesterday, maybe our files are next? At least I hope so!

Try emailing again, including your full name, "a" number and receipt number and ask simply for the status of your case.

Sometimes they get pi$$y just because they can, but if you ask a clear and concise question and include information that they can verify, you invariably get a response.

let me know how it goes
