It must be so difficult to sit & watch as all these cases are being approved in record time, when you have waited SO long

:( I felt that way when we were waiting for our K1........I pray that you get your approval soon-you certainly deserve it!

Yes it is very difficult.

But, I am in contact with my elected officials and will not let this drop. We will have a logical immigration process even if it happens with my last dying breath, which is not going to be for some time.

Lets face it, especially with the K visas, once the person is married or in the case of the K3, once they enter the US. There should be no further need to fill out forms, until its time to lift conditions. Entry into the US should automatically trigger the production of the Green card. Period, end of sentence, people will still try to commit fraud, but that is what lifting conditions is for.

I agree with you 100%.......we already went thru all the bullsh*t with the K-1, we shouldn't have to deal again.

Note: I immigrated from Canada, not T&T - the timeline is reflective of this.

PRESENT - IR-5 Story (reuniting a family)
I-130 for Parents - 2013
Aug ?? - mailed I-130 packages for both mother and father
Sept 10 - NOA1 date
Sept 16 - NOA1s received

2014

Feb 25 - got emails saying that the cases had been transferred to another office for processing

Feb 26 - got emails saying that the cases have been transferred to my local office for processing

Feb 28 - got emails saying that the cases have been transferred and are being processed

Mar 17 - got email, attached to one case number only, saying that my A number was changed relating to the I-130 filing

Mar 18 - got emails saying that the petitions are approved smile.png
