Unfortunately, they don't reply to e-mails. I e-mailed them to make sure they actually received the AOS package as it was a month and a half since it was sent there with no word as to whether they received it or not. They responded that they don't respond to e-mails.

If you've received a pending status, there's not much they can do. They won't tell you where it is, what it's doing, how much longer, if it's stuck in name checks, etc. If you feel you're outside the processing times (which you are not...they are processing cases from December currently), then going through your senators is the best bet to get any information about your case. E-mailing or calling USCIS is absolutely pointless.

Try emailing again, including your full name, "a" number and receipt number and ask simply for the status of your case.

Sometimes they get pi$$y just because they can, but if you ask a clear and concise question and include information that they can verify, you invariably get a response.

I e-mailed them twice...once they responded that they couldn't answer via e-mail and the other time they didn't respond. I did include all of that information and while my e-mail was a little wordy (since I felt the need to explain why I was annoying them), it was simple enough to follow.

No matter now...it's finally pending in California and has had a few touches. Now we're just irked about the EAD (card production on 6/1, approval on 6/7 and we still don't have it. They won't/can't tell us what address they have in the system, so we have no idea if it was mailed to the correct address or if it was mailed at all.)

03/03/2007 - Married!

03/14/2007 - I-485 + I-765 sent

03/21/2007 - NOA1, Checks cashed

06/01/2007 - EAD card production e-mail received (74 days)

07/27/2007 - EAD RECEIVED (57 days after approval)

11/29/2007 - Infopass appointment - file was sent to a storage facility before it was finished processing.

05/28/2008 - Received AOS Interview notice

07/10/2008 - AOS Interview-APPROVED pending fingerprints

09/22/2008 - GREEN CARD IN HAND!

Removing Conditions

06/04/2010 - Sent I-751

06/07/2010 - NOA1

06/09/2010 - Check cashed

07/22/2010 - Biometrics Appointment

09/08/2010 - Card production e-mail
