@Gowon… what part of your post was not pure speculation on your part. All you did was create other people to chime in on something that created no value other than more VJ drama.

I guess the first link gives us an answer. :pop:

REALLY????

If this is that same person,:wow:.

Who cares??? If not, then your answer has no place in this thread.

hmmm.. reading those links i guess they are related...

all you have is a guess?? How informative.

Please people, do not get sidetracked by a post that may, or may not, be links to anything related to this person. Do not lower yourselves. This was like a feeding frenzy. Nothing you guys said was in any shape, fashion, or form an attempt to help this person.

I couldn't say why it is taking so long, but I can certainly say there is a mess here that is more than likely bringing 'red flags' to the case. OP, you overstayed by at least 3 months on your previous K-1 visa. You didn't marry your petitioner/husband to be. Then after breaking the agreement of your visa by overstay, you leave only to be filed for again by someone you met in the time frame that you were expected to marry and AOS with the first man? I am not passing any personal judgements on you here. If this is the case, all I am saying is it doesn't look good, and I wouldn't expect smooth sailing. I am not clear as to which visa you applied for the second time. In any case, people are waiting longer than usual at VSC to get approved on K-1. There is nothing abnormal though about a case like this taking 8 months or longer.

EDIT: Just to clarify, I said, "I couldn't say why it is taking so long. There is nothing abnormal though about a case like this taking 8 months or longer". I mean that I personally couldn't tell you what is going on on the inside, but I do know given the situation that you have presented that a case like this would undergo more scrutiny than a straight forward case. Given that some people are getting approved at 6 or 7 months with no red flags, I don't find this time frame surprising.

I for one dont like to judge(only god judges) but all three of those stories sound very similiar... but only issue I have is its people like that who screw it up or defraud the goverment make it harder for those who are truly inlove. Bless her and hopefully she finds the right path...

Hello,

I just read the story, first off why u did not go home after you figured out that your x fiance is not going to marry you,its the rules no married no staying.I understand that u have aunt to live with but the reason why u came here is "marrying him"anyways I don't want to judge u or anybody.your new husband seems like lying to u IF He wouldn't show u the receipt of the petition IF he really filed.you stated that HE don't have a plan to visit you that something you have to THINK/worried.I mean for me if the person is really loves you then he will make a way just to see you.I am sorry but I am just telling what I feel as a woman & friend.

Anyway figure out what really happened and what's going on.you don't want to wait for nothing,DO you?like other members said demand for the receipt and you can track in online

Good luck & I wish you a peace of mind.

Sounds like 2 different stories. The OP stated she came to the states in 08/10 and never got married but the other story involves a man that did get married and his problems started before 08/10. Both are sad.
