I would like to petition my parents and brother whos is married with 1 kid.

What is the best thing for me to do? Petition my parents first then they will petition my bro once they become U.S. citizens? or petition all of them together? I prefer, the fastest way. Any advice? Thanks!

My understand is that after you have been naturalized you can petition for your parents and any children you may have, not your siblings. I believe you are correct in the assumption that you would have to petition for your parents and then when they are naturalized have them petition for your brother.

In what i understand, you need to petition your parents first then after they become U.S citizen they can petition your brother but since he is married its too difficult to petition him. and if you petition your brother takes 20 years before approval.

wrong until you are a citizen you can only petition spouses and kids. Once you are a USC you can petition parents and sibling also. For you the siblling wait is 23 years. You parent is quicker but because your brother is married your mom can't petition him until she is a USC and that takes 5 years and then the petition is over 10 years for a married child. You are looking at long waits either way.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Unfortunately, there is no fast way.

Current wait time for immigration visas for the Philippines.

USC petitions for married brother - 23 years.

USC petitions for parents - 1 year.

LPR parents cannot file petition for married child.

Parents to gain US citizenship after becoming LPRs - 5 years.

USC parent petitions for married child - 20 years.

LPR parents becoming USCs & petitions for married child - 25 years.

You are incorrect sibling petitions are waiting visa numbers from 1989 and USC for married child is jul 1992. The wait is for the visa number not the approval of the petition. The approved petition sits in a box for decades.

That's the USCIS processing time to approve the petition. After that, the petition is going to be sent to NVC to wait until the priority date is current. The current cutoff date for a brother or sister in the Philippines is February 1, 1989. That means beneficiaries with petitions filed before that date are now eligible to apply for a visa.

You are correct that the OP's petition will probably be approved in less than two years, but it's going to be a lot longer than that before the OP's brother is going to get a visa.
