Feb. 7, 2011 Pkt delivered in Chicago

Feb. 10, 2011 Received txt and email of NOA for AOS, EAD, and AP

Feb. 11, 2011 Check cashed for AOS

Feb. 12, 2011 Touched

Feb. 14, 2011 received hard copy of NOA for AOS, EAD& AP

Feb. 18, 2011 received appt letter for biometrics

Feb. 28, 2011 biometrics appt @10am

Feb. 28, 2011 received txt/email AOS case transferred to csc

Mar 1, 2011 AOS Touched

Mar 3, 2011 received hard copy of AOS transfer to csc

Mar 4, 2011 AOS Touched

Mar 28, 2011 Received txt/email saying card production has been ordered. (1month 3eeks 3days)

Mar 28, 2011 Received 2nd txt/email saying we have registered this customer permanent residence status

Mar 29, 2011 Received 3rd txt/email says card production has been ordered.

Unfortunately I can't advise you on your situation because I'm not experienced enough but wanted to send you support, what a tragic thing to happen, I'm so sorry :( I hope that you'll be able to get through the visa process quickly so you can be with your fiance. I can't imagine how it must feel to be so far from her during a time like this :(

AOS Timeline

7th Oct 2013 - Mailed I-485 package

15th Oct 2013 - NOA1 hard copy

4th Nov 2013 - RFE

8th Nov 2013 - Biometrics

13th Jan 2014 - USCIS confirmed receipt of returned RFE evidence

27th Jan 2014 - Received EAD card

Feb 2014 - Received potential interview waiver letter

19th July 2014 - AOS approved, green card in production :D

uscis doesn't care about tax documents, at all

The IV Unit in Nigeria, otoh, does.

the I-129F was submitted on feb.29, so count 6 months from that date, she should have approval on the I-129F petition.

In the meantime, if she has an interest in her petition, I strongly suggest she come here on VJ and study all. She has a lot of time for this waiting, and the guides and wiki and MENA forum can be a blessing to her.

What date did you get your Form I-797c, NOA1?

This information is from your timeline:

If this date range has passed or your application is past due per USCIS processing times then you should consider calling the USCIS to inquire on your petition. If you have been approved please update your timeline."

06/02/2015-Called Service Center (still no NOA1) Service request found out wrong address on paperwork! :(

06/03/2015-Called to get address updated Ar11 online add change didnt work-got infopass for June 10th

06/10/2015-Went to info pass appt. Hubby got a 1yr. Extension stamp in his passport and biometrics done

08/12/2015-ROC Approved. Got letter in the mail.

08/29/2015-received new card in the mail.

Your timeline says you filed on 2012-02-29 but you didn't receive your I-797c (NOA1) until 2012-05-07? Is this correct?

Hello friends please can somebody enlighten us wht to do???my fiance summited our k1 documents to uscis since february 29 nd till date no receipt number nor any update.nd everytim she calls they always tell her they have the documents with them nd they will notoify us when its being worked on,I'm so confused right now nd don't even know what to think.plz help!!!

If they tell her they have the documents when she calls, then they should be able to give her the case# and/or resend the NOA1 receipt she never received. She should ask for a tier 2 officer to speak to when she calls.

It takes around five or six months for the first part of the process. It sounds to me like you are waiting for petition approval.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!
