We finally received a email from USCIS that our I-130 was approved. It took 8 months and 25 days, probally the longest ever wait of our life.

Thanks to everyone here at VJ for their support and prayers.

We finally received a email from USCIS that our I-130 was approved. It took 8 months and 25 days, probally the longest ever wait of our life.

Thanks to everyone here at VJ for their support and prayers.

Congratulations!!! Get your IV package and AOS package ready, so that you're good to go by the time the bills are invoiced. Also, be ready with the DS-3032 template. As of now, it takes about 20 days for NVC to give you a case number, so give it a week's time and then starting calling them.

Also, please change your timeline under consulate from Chennai to Mumbai.
