Embassy Review : hello everyone, this is how the day started..
my husband and i got up around 3:00am on monday 21st may, got organised and left at 5:00am, reached embassy 6:00am. We waited outside for 1 hour along with everyone else coming for immigrant and non-immigrant visas, finally we were told to get into 2 lines for immigrant and non-immigrant visas, only i got to go in, my husband was not allowed with me, i guess its because of limited seating, i entered the building walked through security and then was told to go to the first door to my left and take a number and be seated outside. I was number 8. they then called my number and directed me to go to window 2, they checked my documents and took my passport along with pictures, they also finger printed me then i was told to go back out, i waited about an hour then was called by name to window 4. This was the official interview, i was asked to raise my right hand and swear, then i was asked questions about my spouse, where is he working, how long were we dating before marriage,if he was married before,if i was working and for a picture of my spouse. I answered all very easily, then she asked how soon i would like to leave the country i said asap! she then printed out a letter and wrote my name on it and said congratulations your visa is approved. the feeling is amazing, i wanted to cry out of joy, i thanked her and took my letter which said i have to return on friday 25th for my visa. that was the end of my interview, i walked out and hugged my husband who was waiting on me the entire time outside.. i left after 11 o' clock.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
