Mr. Sheeshka says June 4th

I say May 28th

I got $50 US riding on May 28th :) with a +/- 1 day.

We both lose, we keep our money.. he loses.. I get $50! I lose, he gets to keep his own $50!

I say you`ll hear at the beginning of next month for an interview on June 12

EXACTLY 30 days after CC, finally an interview date scheduled for 17 MAY 2012 8AM...holly cow, Thought it'll EVER happen! Lisa in DOS confirmed that and was kinda surprised they didn't issue it last Friday, what ever that supposed to mean. she said they are probably busy in Casablanca and that why it took longer..Anyway, email to follow, should be getting it late afternoon. My wife is thrilled but we both overcome the excitement. On hold with NVC to re-confirm (5 minutes).

I'll let sheeshkabelle to do the honor of smillies' dances...

Congrats at last

This is a crazy question but I wanted to shoot to see what you guys think. I just found a "K-1" Timeline where the Beneficiary's Country is Colombia (same Country as my case) and they were scheduled on March 29, 2012 for an Interview on JUNE 7TH!! ... Could this possibly be a hint that there are NO more Interviews available for the Month of May???

You'll be interviewing at New Delhi, right? If so, I'm not sure. My study holds good only for Mumbai.

Check out Nature11's timeline. Mumbai also.

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=105800

Looks like they got Interview date which is about two months after CC.

Not sure when they interview was assigned though, maybe 2 weeks after CC 2/13/2012 because Consulate Received is 2/29/2012

Case Completed at NVC : 2012-02-13

Consulate Received : 2012-02-29

Interview Date : 2012-04-20

I'm not sure if it's the same for Columbia, but for Canada, K-1 applicants schedule their own interviews online, with the availability about 2-3 months in the future (so, for example, June, July, August). IR-1/CR-1 applicants still get scheduled for the months before that though (April, May, etc). Doesn't mean that there's no spots left. But, like I said, this is for Canada; not sure if it's the same for Columbia.

I was actually in touch with my embassy asking about this cause I saw a few K-1 getting their interviews at crazy dates. But in sweden K-1 are getting their own dates straight from the embassy and the slots they set aside for our visa interviews has nothing to do with the K-1. I've seen K-1 getting appointements in late june but I still got my date in may

Wow :wow: the women (ps: i stopped calling lady long time ago)..., so the women pretty much yelled :protest::ranting: at me for asking if interview has been assigned on our case. She said "WEEEEE DON'T DEAL WITH THIS.... LOOKS LIKE YOUR CASE IS AT NVC, I CAN GIVE YOU THEIR PHONE NUMBER....NO, WE DON'T DEAL WITH THIS, YOU CASE GOES FROM USCIS, THEN TO NVC, THEN TO EMBASSY!!!!!!!" and then she gives me a awkward license treatment.

I just got off the phone with Cat at the NVC. She was very pleasant. I explained our current situation and asked to speak to a supervisor since I felt that I shouldn't have to wait any longer to resolve this situation since they made the error in the first place by rejecting a valid document. Cat put me on hold for a couple of minutes and then came back on the line and informed me that there were no supervisors available at the moment but that one would call me back either tonight or tomorrow. She confirmed my phone number and asked how late they could call back. I told her as late as they want.

Ironically i'm traveling to Manchester, NH on business tomorrow, so hopefully I get a call back tonight because I will be on an airplane for most of the day tomorrow.

I hope that a supervisor can get this taken care of with one phone call because i'm getting tired of calling NVC twice a day.

Curious... does NVC bill the old fee before April 13th and the new fee after April 13th? For those that were billed just before the 13th, can they wait until after the 13th to pay to save some money, $100 is a big difference for CR1!
