Consulate Review: Trinidad & Tobago
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : July 18, 2012
Embassy Review : MY Husband's Experience at the Embassy
His appointment was at 7:30am
he got to the embassy at 6:45am
Got out of the embassy at 10:50am
Got home and called me at 11:45am (he left the phone at home ABSOLUTLY NO CELL PHONES IN THE BUILDING)

They asked when he met his wife.. He replied at shcool in 2003.
He (my husband) said the officer made a smart comment which was "25yrs and divorced twice," He (my husband) said No, 26 and divorced once. (i was married before, we was expecting something like this)
They asked him for my original Divorce Decree. he gave it to them.

He said that was it they didnt ask for anything else, no pictures no communication proof nuthing. He said he was the only one with folders of stuff. I like to be over prepared than under prepared.

They gave him the APPROVAL letter and told him to come back on Frid 20th (2 days after his interview) for his passort. I guess they'd give him the brown sealed envelops at that time.
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
