Just curious as to why all of a sudden there is dead silence on any NOA2 approvals? :innocent: I know the service centers go through different rates of speed and sometimes just seem to stop but wow, didn't think it would be this bad. No approvals now for 5 days for CSC and 4 for VSC. Of course I also realize that there might be people who are just not updating timelines and also that our VJ petitions represented here are just a small percentage of the rest out there so there are probably a lot of NOA2 approvals out there that we don't know about. Still seems kinda odd. I know, I need to step away from staring at the timelines...still a long way for me to go yet it is true that every NOA2 approval makes me smile cause then I go, that's one less to go! :thumbs:

09/23/2010- Met online

12/23/2010- Met in person in Kenya

02/01/2011- Visited him in China

02/14/2011- He proposed while I was in China

07/09/2011- Moved to China to be with him

12/19/2011- Went to US to meet his family

01/08/2012- Went back to China with him

02/29/2012- Went back to Kenya to await fiancee visa :-(

02/07/2012: I-129F Sent

02/10/2012: USCIS received I-129F

02/10/2012: NOA1 date

Well, maybe my whining did some good, at least have seen someone got approved on 26th at the CSC thereby proving that the USCIS does in fact still live on :)

Just got email notification of approval of our K-1 petition (NOA2). Maybe the activity at the CSC is ramping up? I would hope so.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

Yes. It has certainly slowed down. Hopefully, this will pass soon. VSC seems to be in a bit of a coma right now..ha...I would guess they moved adjudicators to some other petitions...But maybe things will pick up soon.

Can I ask when you post "Touched" what exactly does that mean? I did go to USCIS and put in my case number and it just says initial review. Would love to think someone is real;y looking at it and processing but I did just send in March 15.

Make sure when you go to uscis.org that you register your petition once you do that there will be a grid that has your number and there will be a last updated section and in that section there is a date when it was last looked at or "touched" once the date changes that means your case has been "touched" please keep in mind that sometimes uscis updates that site and sometimes they dont. some people will get touches and approvals and the date never changes on the site....goodluck
