Make sure when you go to uscis.org that you register your petition once you do that there will be a grid that has your number and there will be a last updated section and in that section there is a date when it was last looked at or "touched" once the date changes that means your case has been "touched" please keep in mind that sometimes uscis updates that site and sometimes they dont. some people will get touches and approvals and the date never changes on the site....goodluck

Okay maybe its my Google Chrome, I am not getting anything here. Grid you say hmmm. I am trying on my Internet Explorer. I am like lost . I registered the other day. When I put in case number i get the screen with the Initial review circle, accepted circle.

my screen looks like this right? Didin't see any grid though

Have faith, it will come. One thing that helped us keep things in perspective is to remember that this whole process is a part of a marathon, not a sprint. As our timeline indicates, we received our NOA2 just shy of 150days. Right now it seems that the NOA1-NOA2 waiting period was so long ago...lol... another of our relationship's memories. Now, we find ourselves working with the DOS (NVC), and awaiting our case to be sent to the consulate in Guangzhou. The focus of this process changes rapidly, and it will likely be that way for some time. We are now working on our Packet 3 documents and planning for the consulate interview. We are guestimating that our interview will take place near the end of May.

I guess what I am saying is to be sure to keep your focus on the end result. Just like the comments on the VJ site say, the process seems to go faster once NOA2 is obtained. Sure, I am certain that there may be future challenges that we will work through as a team. In some ways, this whole process is but further proof of our ongoing relationship and is helping us grow closer together. Thanks to all of the folks that have previously taken this immigration path and take the time to assist and advise folks just embarking on this journey.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Wow, looking at your timeline and I'm kicking myself...love how you guys quickly made up your minds to jump in and send off the I-129F, as you can see, by the time you guys were meeting, we had already been together for a year. The moral of the story, do not procrastinate!

Really wish you guys the very best  I understand Guangzhou is a high fraud center so please do absolutely everything you can to be prepared and look for tips from those that have gone before you...I am watching to see a good report in the very near future for you and your loved one.

Thanks for your advice, will keep saying that over and over to myself...it's a marathon not a sprint, breathe slow lol.

Thank you for the encouraging words. We plan to, and are preparing ourselves for the GUZ interview. Though I am not allowed at the interview, I am planning on meeting my folks in Beijing and will travel with them to Guangzhou. This will be our third mutual encounter. While at the GUZ, I am planning to give my fiancee my passport with my letter of relationship evolution to present to the CO, as further evidence of my sustaining support of our immigration journey and our continuing relationship.

Hang in there, it will get better.
