Whoa. wow.gif You guys were quick. I'm impatiently waiting for something to arrive in the mail. whistling.gif

Maybe it's good news! And hopefully the rest of us receive something soon!

Based on usps tracking, my package was delivered in the am on the 3rd April, and the receipt time on NOA is pm on the same day.

I thought it was normal procedure for the NOA?

But I can't my status online from uscis website, is it normal? :crying:

ToLa, I think the rest of us are putting the date that we SENT off our I-751 and not the dates that USCIS RECEIVED them as I think you have done based on your comment. Is this right?

That might account for the 1 day turn around. Perhaps you sent it the day before and it would still be a very fast 2 day turnaround?

Yeah, I think that's what ToLa did. They sent on 4/2, was received by USCIS on 4/3.

Same day NOA as received date. Really quick. I wish adjudications were done this quickly as well

Yes, we mailed the package on Apr 2, and USCIS received on Apr 3 in the morning.

And we received the NOA on Apr 6, receipt dated Apr 3 and receipt time is around 6pm.

Maybe because we live in CA as well? So the mailing is faster?

We just hope everything will go smoothly.

But as for now, we can't check our status by the USCIS website :help:

I had a home visit during AOS. Just the idea of having had one worried me A LOT so we hired a lawyer afterwards, but turns out we didn't really need to do so because our AOS interview was really easy. Guess the agents who did the home visit saw that everything was in order :)

Just noticed Italy where abouts? I spent 2 1/2 years in Chiogia, Sottomarina area.

Read you NOA carefully. You will be able to check the status only after receiving biometric appointment letter. It will contain case number DIFFERENT from that on your NOA.

Hey guys Happy Easter!!!!!!! We are back here in this amazing site for the second part of our journey, the famous"ROC". We are just starting top get all the information possible so we can send everything by mid April. We know some of you guys have already started, maybe you can send us some comments, ideas on what to have so we can prepare ourselves better. We made great friendships a long the first part of our journey, and we are looking forward for new friends in this second part of our journey. We know that the VSC, is not the preferred Center, but there is not much we can do, since we live in New York, anyway, have a great night. God bless

meant2b2009: read though the thread so far and you can see examples of our cover letters that we've sent already with a list of the info that we included. I know the first couple pages of the March thread also has this type of information and even a picture!

Good luck getting it all together!

Hello,

I am in the process of filing for I-751 waiver based on good faith marriage after divorce with my USC wife is complete. I am in the process of gathering evidence and would like your collective advice/feedback.

-Joint 2011 tax return

-Joint bank account statements every 3 months

-Copy of joint check used to pay property tax (my wife had a house in her name prior to marriage; we never thought to add my name even after I moved in..so i dont have joint lease for residence or anything like that...will that be a problem?)

-Copy of both drivers licenses showing same address

-Joint bank loan to purchase an automobile

-Car titles and registration showing joint ownership of 2 cars

-Car insurance showing both names

-Joint AAA membership

-Copy of pet license received from city department with both our names on it to show joint ownership of our dog

-Medical insurance showing that I am the beneficiary of her insurance and copy of the insurance cards showing same account number

-Copy of blood test exam showing we received madical care from the same physician.

-Various utility bills showing same address every 3 months

-Various cards and letters we received to our address from acquaintances, like wedding invitations

-Copy of receipts for various furnitures we purchased prior to marriage to furnish the house, including refridgerator and bedroom set.

-Copy of receipts for wedding related expenses, such as dress and albums.

-Copy of receipt for wedding rings purchased prior to marriage ceremony.

-60 photos of wedding ceremony, pictures of us in our daily life, pictures taken with families and friends over the length of marriage

-Copy of church bulletin offering free couples therapy that we attended to show attempts were made to rectify the marriage

So far, thats it. Do you think I would need more evidence? What else could I add? Would I be likely to get an RFE after sending just this? Thank your for your advice.

Hello beautiful peeps!

USPS tells me my very thick envelope got to the CA Service Center on April 6th at 10 am. I live in CA as well and I actually work 10 minutes away from the Service Center :D so I was expecting a one day delivery even with the regular ground shipping. I'm spending the night in the OC tonight (still live in San Diego North county) so I won't be back to my house until Tuesday night...wonder if they will be fast with my NOA like for ToLa?

I have also set an alert on my Chase account and they will send me a text once the check is cashed...whenever that happens

Let the wait begin!
