I-751 April 2012 filers

I'm probably too late for the March filing, since my packet is still in the P.O. sorting facility as of the 31st, and NOA1 will obviously arrive this month.

Evidence submitted (a carefully compiled stack of a quarter of an inch thick, clipped at the top, tabbed at the bottom):

- apartment lease under both names

- car loan and registration under both names

- car insurance under both names

- joint bank statements (every 6 months)

- health insurance bills listing me as beneficiary of USC spouse

- greeting cards addressed to both of us in the same address

- plane tickets of trips taken together

- few photos of trips taken together, with family, etc.

** unfortunately no utility bills under both names because they only send bills under one person's name, so I just highlighted our utility/phone bill payments on our bank statements

Crossing my fingers! Does anyone know how backlogged the CA service center is? A friend of mine submitted his on October and they heard they haven't really gotten to their application (at that point they are still processing last year's May filers).

VJName.............I-751 Sent.....NOA1 Date......Biometrics......Approved....

Thanks for being the first April filer on the list!! I did a little search of the previous filer groups here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/358760-i-751-april-2012-filers/page__view__findpost__p__5247907 and it looks like CSC is at around 3-5 months. VSC is much longer.

My list so far for ROC :

- G-1145 – Form for E-notification of Application/Petition Acceptance

- Payment in the amount of $590.00 payable to U.S. Department of Homeland Security

- I-751 Joint Petition to Remove Conditions, signed and dated ###

- Copy of my Green Card (Front and Back)

- Evidences of Relationship:

o Copy IRS transcripts 2010 & 2011 showing joint filing

o Copy of State Income Tax Return 2010 & 2011 (showing joint names)

o Copy of Wells Fargo letter showing that we are joint account holders.

o Copy Wells Fargo joint account statements every 3 or 4 months

o Copy E*Trade joint accounts

o Copy of Credit Bills showing both our names

o Copy of Mortgage, Bill of Sale, Property Taxes of Seasonal Property (showing joint names)

o Electricity bills of Seasonal Property (showing joint names)

o Copy of Company benefits letter showing that my husband is the beneficiary.

o Health Insurance showing joint names

o Medical Explanation of Benefits letters, showing me on my husband's Health Insurance.

o Copy Car Insurance cards (showing joint names)

o Copy of our dog adoption contract from Rescue (showing joint names)

o Copy of my dog's Vet office visit bills (showing joint names)

o Copy of flight itinerary printout, boarding passes & hotel reservation email.

o Copy of Christmas cards that were addressed to both of us.

o Few photos from wedding & various occasions

Our current house is still under my husband's name as he bought it longer before our marriage.

Too troublesome to add my name and we currently have no plan to refinance the mortgage.

I will also highlight in our joint bank account statements, showing our salary direct deposits, car payment, mortgage loans payments & other bills payments.

As for Affidavits, we don't like to trouble friends or family members to write one for us.

We should have sufficient evidences for ROC :)

Hopefully there will be no RFE or interview for us.

I am more worried about Biometrics, because I had to do it twice during AOS since the machine could not read my finger prints!

I don't have to start filing until April 15, but I'm starting to gather evidences. I was wondering if I still needed IRS transcripts or the joint Income Tax Return would be sufficient?

I read the VJ forums. IRS tax transcripts are preferred because it is way easier to just order them and know that all pages and all information are there. But The Joint Income Tax Return 1040 is ok too.

You can order the transcripts online at this address:

http://www.irs.gov/individuals/article/0,,id=232168,00.html

It takes 5-10 days to arrive in mail.

Thank you Merrytooth! smile.gif I decided to order the transcripts online at the IRS website. I thought it would be a pain but it's pretty easy. tongue.gif

Our window opens in about 2 weeks. We received a letter from USCIS advising of this to our old address (lucky we still have the house in Fla) and when I called USCIS to enquire because I did the AR-11 and filed the I-865 (have the NOA's for it) over a year ago ... they told me they couldn't check my address on the system ...

Anyway, we'll be joining April filers maybe if my husband ever gets home ... :crying:
