APPROOOOOOOVED!!!!

Sooooo excited, just recieved an email that our petition has been approved in only 7 weeks!!!!!!! :dancing: WOW they are moving fast lately. Great news for all of you waiting to be with your loved ones!!

We filed in April, based on processing times we were calculating getting our visa in Dec/Jan. Getting the visa sooner would be fantastic except that my husband wont be ready to move to the US until March, June at the latest as he needs to finish his Marekting/Business degree. (I am the USC, temporarily residing in Argentina with my husband, so we are together but I am SO anxious to get back to the US with him). That being said we dont want to get the visa too soon as it is only valid for 6 months. So at this point I guess we take our time with the rest of the paperwork??? Or continue as we have been, proactive style and just request a later interview date??? Any suggestions???

Good luck to all of you on your journeys and THANK YOU THANK YOU for all the help and advice Ive recieved along the way.

Such an incredibly usefel site...THANK YOU VJ!!!! :D:jest:

Wow that was super fast! Congratulations. kicking.gif

You can drag things out by moving slowly through NVC, adjusting submission of your paperwork to better suit your expected moving date. Best of luck.

my I130 is routed thru the california service center and was recieved june 27th , Do anyone know when i should be expecting my NOA approval

i mean NOA 2. i got the NOA 1 already

If all your paperwork is in order, I would calculate 3 months from your NOA1 date. It is typically 5 months but theyve been moving pretty fast lately.

Good luck!

Yup - can always go slow at NVC - you'll have 1 year to finish up there.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
