Well, the 4th was a holiday, so today's only been the 3rd business days. Just give it a bit more time. NVC can be backed up. Give it a few more days. You should get a response of DS-3032 acceptance and then the IV bill is invoiced a day or two after that.

Had my daily call with the NVC - hey no surprise they don't have it yet. The NVC operator started going through the motions of making a "special request" because it was over 15 business days.. Then I said "actually I am only at 12 business days" to which the reply was "oh sorry! Your from California - We've had so many over 15 days for them".

Looking at the timelines database here.. I see almost nothing in the NVC receive column from California approvals with an NOA2 past June 6th. Hmmm!

This got me curious.. So I called USCIS to talk to a tier 2 person.. As I thought would be the case the tier 2 person said they have no visibility once it is approved and the person I talked to did not say anything for me to gleam additional information into the process..

So Tuesday they said call back on Friday... Wednesday they said call back Monday... Today they said maybe Tuesday.. I'm on a treadmill chasing a twinkie on a string :)

It usually takes 2 weeks after the package is sent for it to be reviewed. And then CC if no RFEs.

So Tuesday they said call back on Friday... Wednesday they said call back Monday... Today they said maybe Tuesday.. I'm on a treadmill chasing a twinkie on a string :)

Called tonight and the drum-roll please... "Call back next Wednesday". A little bit different today, they added that it should be there by then "if we are lucky" and put the blame right on the CSC.. At this point I am pretty sure that if they were 100% convinced beyond any doubt that if it was not entered into the system by Wednesday that the world would end... They would have it done Friday.

Please join me for an update on Monday when they tell me to call back on Thursday.

Enjoy your weekend everyone :)

Okay. Thanks! Last night we got an email saying to send the DS-230, and that they reviews the AOS. Guess that's the false RFE everyone is talking about.
