i had operator tell me same thing and i scanned and emailed today too..lol..i also included operator told me too..

Good luck to you.. Please let me know if you get something back from them besides the initial auto-response - I was hoping to avoid the inevitable backup from several weeks of them not receiving next to nothing from the CSC but I think that boat has sailed.. I did call tonight but the NVC person was a little bit on edge so I was not able to get any real dialog going. The wait time was nearly 30 minutes... It was the first time I was a bit abrupt on the phone with them - told them they were not matching the on-hold recording loop that apologized for the long wait due to them providing "customized service" for all callers. I admit it made me feel a little better

Today is 15 business days for me.

I received a response this morning from the email I sent them last Friday - so roughly 2 business days to respond:

Please be advised that the National Visa Center (NVC) has received your

inquiry and the attached I-797 Notice of Action - Approval Notice.

Unfortunately, we do not have record of receiving your approved petition

from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. The NVC will contact

USCIS on your behalf for information on the location of this petition.

Thanks USCIS! That's only another 3+ weeks of completely wasted time - no work being done, not even sitting in a queue.. Just in the corner forgotten waiting to be mailed. Awesome work there guys.

ahh no talk of moving.. you are in the home stretch now.. Only one real black hole left (NVC completion to setting the interview date). Did the NVC get back to you today? I recieved two emails from NVCResearch this morning. The first was a reply to the message from monday morning - same boiler paragpraph as the Tuesday email and one additional paragraph telling me I am impatient and it only had been 15 days (said in a nice way). An hour later I recieved this one from the same person who replied to my Friday email:

Please be advised that the National Visa Center (NVC) contacted U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) to locate your approved petition. USCIS has informed the NVC, that your petition is en route to the NVC. Once we have received your petition, the appropriate agent will receive further instructions within 6 to 8 weeks.

So at least they got CSC to stick it in the mail. Wait six to eight weeks? Try 6 to 8 hours heh :)

I mailed one to nvcinquiry (last thursday) and two to nvcresearch (one Friday, one Monday). Never received a response from nvcinquiry..

Yeah I saw the seven month wait... insane. I would have looked like I hand in a light socket from the frustration.
