We are looking to save money wherever we can. My wife and I both need 4 passport pictures. So far, the cheapest we have seen is 2 pictures for $9.00. Is there anywhere cheaper? I think it's pretty ridiculous to pay nearly $40 for 8 pictures.

Thanks!

We downloaded a program and made the photos ourselves - printed them on photo paper. The program was from passportphotostudio.com and it cost $8.95 for unlimited photos. There are other options online as well, but I can only vouch for this one. Good luck.

AOS for my husband

Do you mean US passport? You can just take the picture in front of a white backgroud and send it to Walgreen to print. This is the cheapest way. Of course you have to pay attention to the pictures requirements.

If you have a digital camera and you know how to edit pictures (to crop and resize to the correct 2"x2" size) you can take the picture yourself and then print at any pharmacy or supermarket with a photo lab (each 4"x6" is around $0.25), then trim the pictures yourself neatly with scissors. I did this for my passport pictures and it worked well.

August 23, 2010 - I-129 F package sent via USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation.

August 30, 2010 - Per Department of Homeland Security (DHS) e-mail, petition received and routed to California Service Center for processing. Check cashed. I-797C Notice of Action by mail (NOA 1) - Received date 08/25/2010. Notice date 08/27/2010.

After 150 days of imposed anxious patience...

January 24, 2011 - Per USCIS website, petition approved and notice mailed.

January 31, 2011 - Approval receipt notice (NOA 2) received by mail. Called NVC, given Santo Domingo case number, and informed that petition was sent same day to consulate.

Called Visa Specialist at the Department of State every day for a case update. Informed of interview date on February, 16 2011. Informed that packet was mailed to fiance on February, 15 2011.

February 21, 2011 - Fiance has not yet received packet. Called 1-877-804-5402 (Visa Information Center of the United States Embassy) to request a duplicate packet in person pick-up at the US consulate in Santo Domingo. Packet can be picked-up by fiance on 02/28.

March 1, 2011 - Medical exam completed at Consultorios de Visa in Santo Domingo.

March 9, 2011 at 6 AM - Interview, approved!

March 18, 2011 - POE together. JFK and O'Hare airports. Legal wedding: May 16, 2011.

Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.

Here's a great site that I used for my passport pictures: http://www.epassportphoto.com/ You take the picture yourself, you upload it here, and it will crop the picture for you. It'll then make a 4" x 6" picture for you with 5 of your pictures on it. If you have photo paper at home, then you can just print it on that. Absolutely free.

I used my digital camera, took pics sized and cropped for 2"x2" on PC, and printed out on quality photo paper. Cost about 10 cents per pic.

Ditto to this. Though I printed mine at Walmart. It was 19c per sheet of 5 photos. This is by far the cheapest and safest way (ensures photos fulfil the requirements) in my opinion. You can do it at home too I'm sure but I like the website.

moved from AOS from family visa to AOS from Work, Student & Tourist Visa as it does not appear OP is adjusting from a K or other immediate family sponsored entry visa

Hi All,

I know this post is a bit old, but I thought I would add my cheap find here!

This weekend I got my passport photos done at Costco. They were 4.99$ for 4. No membership needed to get photos done.

Good luck!
