So I woke up this morning, checked my emails which I always do first thing (have been slightly obsessive about it recently..!), and there were the words I having been hoping to see for the past 5 months "your I129F petition for fiancee visa has been approved" or words to that effect :D

I screamed so loud my mum ran up the stairs thinking I'd had a heart attack...!!

Thank goodness for this forum, that's all I can say.

I'm sure I'm going to have a lot of questions in the run up to the interview in London...lol!

The last few days in particular have been a real struggle, was feeling really despondent, but now the worse is over, and the best is yet to come :-)

Really hoping that you guys who haven't heard anything yet get some good news soon :-)

Believe me I've been a mess the past few days, approaching the 5 month mark, and haven't seen my boy in 4 months, so I know how crappy the wait is...

This process is not for the fainthearted!!

Sending good vibes

It seems that all of us going through this process have a unique appreciation for marriage unlike people who are lucky enough to have citizenship in the same country. :D:thumbs: I can't wait til I get to post a similar topic, it'll be awhile, but totally worth the wait!!! :luv:

And this, Al, is why people call you negative. You can't simply extend congratulations to someone else. You have to add in that once again, you're being inconvenienced. It's so tiresome.

To the OP, congratulations. :) Things will start moving much faster now!
