Let start a topic about our wedding date's, all these negative topics on here make me sad.

It would be nice to see what everyone's date is and the reason why...atleast I think it is lol

Copy and paste it yourself, lets have some fun

Wedding date: Augst 6th 2011

Why that date?: Because It's a year later after we got engaged!!

129-F Send: September 2010

Positive that you're going to make that date with these service centers going so slow: For sure!

Wedding date: 3 JAN 2011

Why this date: Becuase its after my deployment and Kim will have been able to spend some time in America to get used to it :)

I-129 filed: August 2010.

This was nice thank you :)

Did you mean Jan 3, 2012? Or June 3, 2011...just confused cause that date has already passed :P

Wedding date: 2 OCT 2011

I-129F filed: JAN 2011

Hope it'll work out, I'll have all of my stuff ready for the Consulate so I can send back package 3 right away and from what I read Frankfurt moves pretty quick...we had initially hoped for a September wedding as it's the month of our two year anniversary and we are planning an outdoor wedding but hey, I'd rather be safe with an October date. Even though VSC might pick up processing times, but so not counting on it :P

We are planning to go down to the courthouse and sign the legal papers for our marriage ASAP once my FI´s visa is approved and he enters into the US. It is too stressful to plan a real wedding when we do not know for sure if we will even be able to make the date, and since we will have family and friends traveling from all over, we want to give them lots of notice, and not just plan something on the fly once the visa gets approved. Plus, FI does not like the idea of having a big wedding while not employed.

Our "Wedding Wedding" is scheduled for June 9, 2012! Is anyone else doing this? legal ceremony first, religious ceremony and reception at a later date!

Wedding: August 26th 2009

Sent I-129F: May 2009

"Real" wedding was supposed to be August 26th 2011 - Dress cake and all family. But because the wedding planners I contact keep messing around we don't know really when we will have the big wedding part. For now we are just happy to be married in the court by a funny judge who yelled at my husband for bringing ring pops for rings ( ours weren't ready yet ). That memory serves us greatly! Tho family is pushing for a real wedding but not really helping me try to organize anything!

Wedding date: April 19, 2011 (we planned to have it February 14, 2011 but we still do not have our NOA2 to date, so we moved it April 19, 2011)

Why: I do not know why, it's a Holy Tuesday by the way (Holy Week for Catholics), I think the real reason is my fiancee will only take lesser days of leaves due to Easter Monday official holiday.

Filed July. 20, 2010 - NOA1 dated July 29, 2010

I bought my dress last November and he bought his barong online and the delivery will be in the next few days. The wedding will be in Hilton Hawaii, we will have a beach wedding! !! I can't wait to wear a haku lei!!!!
