Skynaut ! Cool!

Well since its in Europe. We will have to see how long it take them to process

and complete the first part to the NOA2 hey !

SO it would be a great Christmas gift to get an approval by January 1st or so.

Lucky I fiel in the month of July to make the August time frame. Good Luck !

My application was transferred as well. I hope that the time does not restart as I filed in June 2010 and am expecting the visa this month. December at the latest. Oh yeah, what is RFE mean and is the NOA2 the approval letter.

Someone stated I should be on the lookout for fingerprint papers -- do they arrive before or after the visa is approved? So confused. Thanks

This is as good a time as any to cease calling a petition an application. When your petition is approved, your spouse will be given an opportunity to "apply" for a visa using a "visa application".

Ya, apparently your attorney and I know something about this TSC actions ;)

He says 60 days or less, I'm saying 45 days or less.

Hang in there !!! At least you beat the 'November Rush' for petition submittal - the I-130 filing fee goes up on 23rd (24th?) November - and it's gonna get WAY backlogged after that - as more people sent it to beat the rush.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Priority date doesn't matter for spouse visas. Priority date is for those that applied for visas with a limited number per year. IR-1/CR-1 visas are not limited, thus you can ignore the priority date.

Thanks Saylin :) ....sometime more readings makes confuse... :(

Yes, I can imagine. There's lots of terms out there in relation to visas and it's hard to sort through at times.

i wanna know if its possible to create more than one account on the website that allows us to check our case status : https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do

if yes, are they gonna notify the first account that a second account has been created for the same case ??

Thanks.

OK thanks. Still working my way through the correct terminology. It's good to see folks think the transfer to Texas is a positive thing and that the clock doesn't start over. Will the fingerprint documentation be sent to applicant or beneficiary (non-US citizen)?

Im not sure if this applies, but I found this on immigrate2us. Im thinking it may not BUT Im throwing it out there just in case.

anita: I am LPR, I have applied I-130 for my husband on Dec9, 2009. I have just got the letter it says

Notice Type: Transfer notice

and

preliminary processing of the above above application has been completed, and it has been transfered to the USCISoffice at: 6500 e campus circle drive , irving, tx75063. That office will notify you when they schedule an interview on the aplication or pretition. Any futher inquires should be made to that office

I was just wondering is this mean my I-130 is aproved? what is the next process after this?

katherine: No, it does not meant that. It means that, for some reason (usually, although not always, involving questions about the relationship), they want to conduct an interview before adjudicating the I130.

http://immigrate2us.net/forum/showthread.php?86126-Laurel-Katherine-Chat-log-11-3-2010&p=1033337#post1033337

For anyone with any queries re legal matters, this is a great source of advice on a Wednesday. Its Laurels free advice / chat service.

Again, if it doesnt apply I apologize.
