hi everyone. I just discovered i am pregnant :(:) kind of sad cus I am not with my husband and happy of course. so It's confusing lol

I just want to know it this will change the process, I mean if it will take longer which I am afraid... we married in November 7th las year and have been apart since then :( as most of you :(. I am waiting for my NOA2 right now. can you send me links or just answer to me. Thanx in adavance :)

CONSULATE STAGE:
08-11-2010: USEM received the case.
10-11-2010: Called USEM, need to send ASAP DS-230 and DS-2100
12-11-2010: emailed DS-230 and DS-2100
12-11-2010: Received Interview date
16-11-2010: Medical Tests
17-11-2010: Interview: APPROVED
23-11-2010: Passport received :)

03-12-2010: POE Miami- Washington D.C (DCA).
10-12-2010: Applied for replacement of S.S
17-12-2010: Received S.S card in the mail 7 days after applied for the replacement

When are you due?

02-23-2018: Sent N-400 Application online

02-23-2018: Date on NOA, retrieved from online account

02-23-2018: Date on Biometrics Appointment Letter (Biometrics Appointment at Jacksonville ASC on March 13, 10:00 a.m.)

03-08-2018: Biometrics complete

04-05-2018: Case status updated - Interview Scheduled on May 10, 2018, 10:15 a.m. :D

05-10-2018: Citizenship Interview - Passed English and Civics Tests, Recommended for Approval! :D 

06-19-2018: Received email and text notification: Naturalization Ceremony Scheduled; waited for letter to be uploaded on online account - it has been set on Wednesday, July 25, 3:00 p.m.

07-25-2018: I am now a U.S. Citizen!

Mary,

There is no such expedite based on pregnancy. But you may try to expedite if you feel nobody is there to take care you.

Based on your timeline, your I-130 approval should be through in couple of weeks time, plus NVC another 1.5 to 2 months time, plus Interview another 1.5 to 2 months (based on the Consulate too) time.

I am really confused from your note :star: that you "just discovered" it and apart each other since last Nov! May be my math is wrong here :devil:

lol we married last year in November, and we are living in different countries. As most of couples here. it had been ok cus he 's been coming alot but now situation changes and I feel alone. I meant that I just discovered cus today I got some medical test for my job and one of them was pregnancy and the result was positive, so I just knew today, I do not pretend to expedite, but I am scared it takes more time.

After reading that, I am still confused...

So you've been apart from your husband since November 2009 (which was when you got married) and you haven't seen him since then? Or, he has been visiting throughout the past year and you feel alone now because you two are not together...So if that's the case, you have seen him recently. Hopefully things work out on time and you two can be together right after the baby is born.

I had to account for all of the times that I have visited my fiancee and discovered that in the last 3 years, I have visited her 13 times. If you ask her, she will tell you that I don't come enough. I'd definitely try to expedite in this case. There was a thread some time ago and their case was expedited just by explaining that the wife is pregnant and she needed the loving care of her husband. :)

There is really nothing that can go wrong with an inquiry except that it can be denied.

You could argue that you're afraid the visa will be granted right around the time where you're not allowed to fly anymore. That would cause great problems.

Be prepared to send in a letter from your doc confirming the pregnancy. Sometimes written evidence is require. Other times it's not. All depends on the person you talk to.

Oh and only the US Citizen can request this.

Honestly, I just ignore comments like those questioning the OP's post. Clearly english is not her first language. She actually explained it very well by saying the have been apart since they got married "didn't LIVE together since then" but he has ben coming a lot "he has been visiting".

And really. Even if that's not the case it's none of our business neither our problem to handle. :)
