I have just 4 weeks or so, so I will be due in June or so ... :)

your husband will need to look into CRBA consular birth abroad. So the baby can get a US passport.

I doubt you can get an expedite fast enough when you only have your NOA1 and you are going to have your baby in about 4 weeks.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I am a Citizen of the United States of America. 04/16/13

I'd definitely try to expedite in this case. There was a thread some time ago and their case was expedited just by explaining that the wife is pregnant and she needed the loving care of her husband. :)

There is really nothing that can go wrong with an inquiry except that it can be denied.

You could argue that you're afraid the visa will be granted right around the time where you're not allowed to fly anymore. That would cause great problems.

Be prepared to send in a letter from your doc confirming the pregnancy. Sometimes written evidence is require. Other times it's not. All depends on the person you talk to.

Oh and only the US Citizen can request this.

Good luck!

I second this approach.

It is do-able, some people get lucky.

Mary,

Based on your timeline, your I-130 approval should be through in couple of weeks time, plus NVC another 1.5 to 2 months time, plus Interview another 1.5 to 2 months (based on the Consulate too) time.

Loto

####### (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday?)... are you serious? So after waiting 5 to 6 months approval... then 4 more months of loneliness? I thought NVC is shorter and Consulate is how fast you response to their request... this is a bit depressing - cold showers ain't doin' it... at least SKYPE keeps me sane for now...

Can any Pinoy Filers out there verify timeline for Manila?

Salamat naman po!

Are you studying IR-1/CR-1 timelines in the Manila Portal, here at VJ?

You really should, it's always useful !

Click the flag under yer name - boom ! yer dropped to yer Portal.

Then click on the timeline type you want to study, in the left panel.

Good Luck !

We were commenting because we wondered how you could just have learned you are pregnant if the last time you said you saw your husband was 10 months ago......

we have been apart for 10 months but he comes every two months, thats how i got pregnant, but still he is not here and that makes me feel alone, cus I have to go to test and ecography alone its sad :( I just need to be with my husband :(
