Wife's POE at Chicago!

My wife arrived in US yesterday evening :star: We are re-united after being apart for 7 months or so. It may not seem a long time for some, but for us it was a long time for sure. So happy to hold her in my arms again :star: She said everything was good, but was kinda confused because she said they didn't do all her finger prints at the customs in Chicago. Are they suppose to do all fingers?? I wasn't sure. She said the customs people weren't really helpful because it was super busy there. They just wanted her to get things done quickly. She didn't like Chicago airport at all, haha. She hated the POE there because that airport apparently is chaotic. But overall they didn't bother her at all there. Only thing is that her bags didn't arrive yesterday so we are still waiting for them. They were with her until Chicago, but than they didn't come to Cleveland.

Anyhow I just want to thank all the VJ family here especially sachinky for getting us through this. Without everyone's help here, I don't think we would have gotten it done so fast and would be so lost. Everyone is so helpful here and are always helping. I can't thank everyone for that and I won't forget it either. I will still be around and routing for everyone else to have their visa and to be with their loved one's soon :star:

January 5/2010 - Petition Sent

January 12 - NOA1 Hard Copy

March 15 - Email I-130 Approved

NVC Journey:

March 20 - Mail NOA2 HardCopy

March 20 - NVC Case Number assigned

March 23 - Got NVC Case Number and gave emails

March 25 - Got AOS Bill / DS-3032

March 27 - Emailed DS-3032

March 27 - Paid AOS Bill

March 31 - AOS Bill shows PAID

March 31 - DS-3032 sent by email accepted

April 07 - Paid IV Bill

April 09 - IV Bill shows PAID

April 09 - Sent AOS package via USPS

April 12 - AOS package Delivered and signed by N. Visa Center

April 13 - Sent DS-230 package via USPS

April 23 - LIF!!! Sweeet!!! Thank You Bhagvan / inşallah =)

June 04 - Wife went for medical and got it done

June 22 - Wife's interview (Missing Bank statement) =(

June 25 - Sent Bank letter to wife

June 29 - Wife got the bank letter and sent it to embassy

July 07 - Wife got visa in hand!! Thank You Bhagvan / inşallah =)

Aug 02 - Wife's POE!!! (Excited) =)

Aug 02 - Picked up my wife at 8:45 pm (Super happy to be with her again) =)

I'm so happy to hear that you two are finally together! And I know that any amount of time separated can feel like a lifetime, so it's wonderful to know that you are rejoicing in her arrival now. Congratulations!

07-01-2010: NOA1 Notice Date

07-09-2010: Received NOA1 hard copy

07-13-2010: Touched!

07-14-2010: Touched!

07-28-2010: NOA2 Notice Date!! (27 days after NOA1 Notice Date!)

08-03-2010: Received NOA2 hard copy

08-05-2010: Called NVC, was told that petition was mailed to South Africa 08-02-2010

08-17-2010: Received P3 packet

09-02-2010: Received Interview Date! Sept 21 @ 1pm!

09-21-2010: APPROVED!!!

09-30-2010: Picked up my fiance' at the airport!!

11-20-2010: MARRIED!!!

12-02-2010: Sent I-485, Adjustment of Status (overnight via FedEx)

12-03-2010: Received!

12-10-2010: I-485 Check cashed

01-05-2011: RFE mailed to us, and we promptly responded

01-24-2011: RFE received...

02-04-2011: Notification that our I-485 was mailed to CSC

-Touched 4 different times in between

-APPROVED: 6/2/10

93 days from NOA1 to NOA2

-Received NVC case number: 6/9/10/10

-Gave NVC my e-mail address & e-mailed DS3032: 6/10/10

-Received NVC e-mails (DS3032 and AOS Fee)& paid AOS fee: 6/11/10

-AOS Fee shows as PAID & paid IV Bill: 6/15/10

-IV Bill shows as paid: 6/6/10

-Received IV instruction packet: 6/8/10

-Received dox from co-sponsor: 10/14/15/10

-Sent AOS package: 10/18/10

-AOS package received: 10/19/10-J.Desmond

-IV Package mailed out: 11/3/10

-AVR says I have an RFE: 11/5/10

-NVC operator told me what my RFE's are: 11/8/10

-NVC sent checklist letter (for the 2 AOS RFE's): 11/13/10

-NVC operator says the IV package has been entered: 11/18/10

-E-mailed SUE to see if that would do anything (3 diff times...): 11/29/30/10
