My man takes me everywhere he goes when we talk on the phone.. grocery shopping, working out, when he's doing stuff around the house, watching the telly... sometimes it does annoy me and I have to remind myself that it's not even worth arghing about!

I do hate condescending behavior for no apparent reason! Gosh darn it. Not wearing Prada, Gucci or whatever makes me no less a respectable person than you think you are. Come off it already, will ya?! mhh grumpy

Pet peeves:

SO won't ever change the toilet paper roll - he'll bring a new one, but never change it - just leaves it on top of the sink.

SO will always put dirty clothes right next to the laundry basket - there for dirty clothes...

people who write ALL CAPS Although it may appear easier to read ALL CAPS, it isn't. And for the many years that the internet has been available to the general public, ALL CAPS has always been considered shouting.

my grandfather (may he rest in heaven) used to do that, because he was a computer programmer back when everything was DOS... he never took his capslock off ever, for any reason. All of his e-mails were in caps. I got used to it. :star:

It totally bugs me when people, upon finding out what town in California I live in...go through a list of friends all OVER California, asking me if I know them.

And another HUGE pet peeve...are people who say axe instead of ask..."Let me axe you a question." UM NO...that would be painful and bloody.

OMG...I get one similar to this, Blu.....I work for one of the major phone companies and the second someone finds out where I work I either get..."oh, my cousins, husbands, aunt works for them..do you know her??" Or I get...."Oh, you do?? Can you fix my phone bill??" Nooooooooooooo....I don't...and Noooooooooo ... I can't! :bonk: Drives me crazy!

Tall people who, even though they see me and my 5-foot-not-much-more stature, still insist on standing right in the middle of my line of sight. Excuse me! Why is it that the best spot? You saw me there and looking in that direction. Six inches to left or right and you would still have a great view (Heck! Behind me and you'd be fine still!) and I would, too.

This has bugged the husby and I for a few weeks now: He'll get here in September this year. We'll start removing conditions in June 2012 only to be back a year later to apply for citizenship. Can the DOS not see the waste in this?

Giant trucks all up on my tail. Just go around. I'm already going over the limit and I'm not in the left lane. What more do you want?

people who belch at the table and fart in group,

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

females that FART under the covers
Now, now, now, si man... farts are a sign of love. The secret to a happy marriage is this: Whoever has to fart should announce the imminent event with as much advance notice as possible, turn a minimum of 90 degrees (optimally, 180 degrees) away from the other occupant of the bed, commit the fouling, and then thoroughly flap the odor (if in Canada, odour) out HIS or HER side of the covers. Anything less is an error of emission, si man. Edited by TBoneTX

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
