It's not very well written anyway. There are the seeds of decent arguments in it, but then it lumps anyone who says he's muslim with so-called "muslims" who blow people and themselves up. Also, when you make an argument, don't take a superior position. Lay the facts out with your argument as neutrally as possible so the reader can come to the conclusion himself.

Search the web for "bible used as toilet paper". The only one claiming this is WorldNetDaily. All the other sites refer back to the WorldNetDaily article, which has NO substantiation. Same for the "shat and peed upon" part.

This is so ridiculous it is laughable. Seriously, do you have ANY CLUE about the war in Bosnia? No murders by Christians? Ever hear of Srebrenica?

What makes a person an expert? Because they lived there? In that case my mother is an expert because she lived and studied in Lebanon - but she had never had a problem finding an Old Testament.

My family has always had numerous Lebanese Christian friends. Most are older and have lived through the civil war. None describe it the way your expert does. Perhaps this is how she really sees it and maybe that has to do with things she heard in her own home about Muslims. I don't know. What I do know is that the Lebanese Christians I have known all my life would paint a very different picture of the war. A few took issue when I married a Muslim, but not because they have any problems with Muslims but because they feel Christianity is the right path. These are people who "survived the Islamic Jihad".

I have thought about sharing the emails they have been sending out of Lebanon since this conflict began with people on here, because maybe you would all take them a little more seriously since they are Christian rather than Muslim. However, I have come to the conclusion it wouldn't matter that they are Christian. If their reality doesn't match up with everyone else's ideas of what is going on over there, they will be labeled as Hezbollah lovers and supporters, etc. and my posting their words gives them no chance to defend those attacks.

I agree that we in the west seem to consolidate our view of Muslim extremists and the religion of Islam itself, without much distinction. But what strikes me as most odd regarding some of the recent posts written by the pro-Arab (pro-Islamic) VJ’ers is that I have not found any posts written by these same VJ’ers regarding the slaughter of Arab Muslims by other Arab Muslims, such as what is happening today in Iraq...

He is not spreading hate, he is saying what most of us think.

Maybe you don't see it as hate because you are not the recieving party...think about it.

Just look at www.thereligionofpeace.com and scroll down to the most recent statistics...... Over 700 people died last month because of Islamic terror attacks.

You know what amazes me is that you think that by "surfing the net" and landing upon 1 website among thousands you have suddenly figured out Islam? Or wait, did you learn that from CNN?

Um did I ever direct this at YOU? Get your facts straight. I provided a site that keeps track of islamist terror attacks because another poster asked for proof, which I provided.

I dont pay much attention to CNN for your information, and I look at a variety of sources. However, when islamists are killing almost 1,000 people a month there is a problem.

You need to chill out and actually read what I said. I am not filled with hate, as I do not strap a bomb to myself and enter a mosque. I am sick of those who hate anyone who is not just like them. Islamist terrorists are racists in the truest meaning of the word.

Further, people don't make such claims agains christianity because they AREN'T TRUE.

There is good and bad in all relgion, there is good and bad in all people. There is not one religion, country, or race that is 100% good or bad. However what you see as good, others may see as bad.

I was the victim of hate on 9/11. My father is a pilot for United and he was scheduled to fly flt. 93 on the 13th of September and both of the United captains were good friends of his. You sit and point your finger at anyone who criticizes Islam and say they spread hate.

In addition, I never said only certain people could respond, you are just having a knee-jerk response.

My problem with islam is this: There is a vastly disproportionate amount of islamic terrorists to those of other faiths. To make things worse, the general muslim population does NOTHING to snuff these people out. Instead, they keep saying "oh it doesn't represent ALL muslims." Yeah, good job guys.
