I was the victim of hate on 9/11. My father is a pilot for United and he was scheduled to fly flt. 93 on the 13th of September and both of the United captains were good friends of his. You sit and point your finger at anyone who criticizes Islam and say they spread hate.

In addition, I never said only certain people could respond, you are just having a knee-jerk response.

My problem with islam is this: There is a vastly disproportionate amount of islamic terrorists to those of other faiths. To make things worse, the general muslim population does NOTHING to snuff these people out. Instead, they keep saying "oh it doesn't represent ALL muslims." Yeah, good job guys.

The site I provided does not promote "hatred of Islam." It holds Islamic militants responsible for the horrible atrocities they commit.

I do not hate Islam. That being said, the muslim world needs to join everyone else in the 21st century. I am tired of seeing people's heads bieng cut off, and people being tortured because of their faith. It is just disgusting.

Show me another religion that is currently murdering civilians of other faiths at the same rate Islam is. Show me just 1! You won't because there isn't one.

I have read passages of the Koran and it does indeed state that muslims should destroy the unbelievers if they do not convert.

I provided a site with facts, showing the murders of radical Islamists and you say it is an "opinion" site. I guess the Halocaust was fake too then? These people have DIED and you choose to ignore it. My eyes are open, you however are stuck daydreaming about a "1,001 Arabian Nights" romance novel.

They don't represent the muslims and they are in fact against them! Modern day muslims are just as "westernized" as we are. Do you think Islamic Jihadists like that? How can you tell who is a Jihadist and who is not? Most of them live among people and you would have no clue. Alot of the muslim world is on the "bandwagon" of the 21st century. Again what you see on TV and in the news does not represent the vast majority of muslims. However it seems like when we try to make a point about not all muslims are that way it gets ignored or written off as "living in a 1001 night romance novel". I have not ignored that anyone has died, not a single person. I have never even mentioned the halocaust in any of my posts. If you go through my posts, I have never once since that anyone deserved it. I will tell you what is being ignored. All of the arabs that have died at the hands of Israel. My family has always had numerous Lebanese Christian friends. Most are older and have lived through the civil war. None describe it the way your expert does. Perhaps this is how she really sees it and maybe that has to do with things she heard in her own home about Muslims. I don't know. What I do know is that the Lebanese Christians I have known all my life would paint a very different picture of the war. A few took issue when I married a Muslim, but not because they have any problems with Muslims but because they feel Christianity is the right path. These are people who "survived the Islamic Jihad".

I have thought about sharing the emails they have been sending out of Lebanon since this conflict began with people on here, because maybe you would all take them a little more seriously since they are Christian rather than Muslim. However, I have come to the conclusion it wouldn't matter that they are Christian. If their reality doesn't match up with everyone else's ideas of what is going on over there, they will be labeled as Hezbollah lovers and supporters, etc. and my posting their words gives them no chance to defend those attacks.

Further, unlike other jobs, you are required to retire at age 60. He is now 57, drinks heavily, and is constantly being depressed after working at United for 30 years for nothing. Thanks Islam!

An organization is responsible for the actions of its members. This includes Islam. When the muslim population eliminates their "red-headed murderous stepchildren" then the problem will resolve itself.

You still cannot explain the massive numbers of murders and destruction of religious monuments and places of worship of other faiths....not to mention riots in France, riots over cartoons, riots over this...riots over that....it goes on and on and on.

Maybe I have missed it, but I have not seen a single one of the "Muslim lovers" posting purely propaganda pieces from a jihadist or similar website about Christians, the United States, our troops, Israel, etc. and there are a fair number out there that sound just as ugly as the original message in this thread.

However, opinion pieces/hate pieces that get circulated by email among the anti-Islam crowd are routined posted on VJ, many tying back to JihadWatch or WorldNetDaily. I am not playing censor - post what you want. It speaks more about those posting it than it does about Muslims.

Financially almost all americans were affected!!!! My own father lost $800, 000 of his retirement after Sept 11th, but we are happy that we didn't lose our lives! I can't even believe you have the nerve to compare your financial losses from 9/11 to those who lost their loved ones and their lives. There is no comparison my friend.

I am at a loss for words. I said I was a victim, and I did in no way compare myself or my family to someone who lost their life.

You need to pull out a dictionary and read what victim means.

Further, there is an amount of good and bad in every religion, but there is a disproportionate number of bad in Islam. There is a horrible double standard in the world my friend. When the U.S. stacks a naked pyramid of Iraqi prisoners, all hell breaks loose. However, when Islamists decide to blow up pizzarias or saw off peoples heads, where is the rioting from the islamic community, decrying these "perverters of Islam?"

That is why I'm angry. I am not hateful, I am angry that the islamic community holds a double standard on human life. That of muslims, and that of the infidels.
