VSC is killing these petition approvals! WHY oh WHY can't CSC follow suit! I'm only just beginning this process and I feel for those people that filed at the CSC and are seeing all these approvals going through the VSC. I look at Igor's list and there have been very few approvals for CSC and you look at VSC and about 10 were approved the last 2 days!

That's it...where can I file my complaint? HA!

Don't worry about filing the complaint it will only fall on deaf ears...at the beginning of this year it was flip-flopped CSC was burnin' it up and VSC was sitting on sidelines watching the game.

It goes back and forth...all the time...

I think I read somewhere that VSC has moved more people over to processing K-1s because they were super backlogged.

The pendulum swings. Or should I say "the worm turns" LOL

This was the situation in early 2008 when I filed and VSC was very fast and CSC was slow.

VSC has just recently piled on the adjudicators on the I-129fs and that situation is temporary, however, they have also just done major office remodels, moved 100+ people to another office at a different location and then remodeled the St. Albans office, so hopefully they will remain at least reasonable in processing petitions. Hvaing been in commercial construction management for 35 years, I can tell you remodeling occupied space is a pain in the @ss for everyone, if they have that behind them maybe things will be more "normal" in the future.

For those that haven't seen it, the VSC is a very large complex employing hundreds of people doing a lot more than just fiancee visas. They are a major employer in this area and had outgrown their large complex and moved a lot of people to a new office complex they acquired from IBM in Essex, Vermont when IBM cut back on their staff. It is not the quiet, sleepy office our local USCIS office is, which is more similar to Mayberry RFD

101 days since our NOA1 from CSC. My timeline say that my average processing days are 99-107 for the CSC, but I am still being anxious. This is way sooner than the USCIS time frames, but now that I know other people are getting their NOA2’s I have become a compulsive email checker and it is driving me nuts!!!! Do they just do a mass emailing to the people who are approved? Does it come at average times of a day? Blah blah blah...

I know this is an obvious question, but why are some people approved in like 60 days and others aren't? My Fiancé is from Finland (Very Friendly country to the US) I am prior military with security clearance, both have stable long term jobs, and respected lives? I think the obvious thing here is that we are working with a bureaucracy and things just go like that often... it is just frustrating that there is no way to check how far along the actual petition is. I keep getting these pangs of fear that our application is stuck under someone’s keyboard or dropped behind a desk somewhere :) :) :) How ridiculous is that thought, but it is true.

I guess the magic word right now is patience, but sometimes it is a hard thing to have. Good luck to everyone who has not been approved in the calculated times.

Looking at Igor's list I would think that you should be coming up pretty soon! It's funny really we look at the USCIS website it says 5 months but the idea that we could get it in less time than that starts something off in our brains that don't allow us to think properly! I suppose we are just all so excited we just hoping for the best and honestly I think that's the best thing we can do....hope!

All I can do is sit and smile and know that eventually it will be done. I'm leaving here on Christmas to spend a week with John and then I will go back for the interview. At least I know that in less than 3 months I'll get a little time with him again and for me a little time is better than no time at all. I'm learning a hard lesson in having patience :)

I feel you Brian and I used to feel the same way thinking if my file slid off someone's desk and ended up in the trash can etc..I m not complaining as both of my petitions were approved within 60 days. But while waiting for my approval, I had seen folks getting approved within a month and people filed after me get approved.

I would be very much interested to know how they operate and pick files. The most frustating part is not being able to contact them..
