WOW!! This site is amazing, I only wish I had found it sooner. Probably would have saved me a lot of time and money. Yesterday my fiance was approved her K-1 Visa in Brazil. I am so excited especially since this whole process has lasted just about a year. I (unfortunately) got a lawyer thinking it would expedite the whole process but looking back on it I think I would have been better off just finding this website. I plan on sharing my story and all the trials and tribulations, but first I would like to say HELLO and venture around this new found website.

I did it without a lawyer and we just got approved by USCIS. Now it is off to Rio. I'm getting nervous.

Congrats and welcome. You're not finishing, maybe never finished, with Immigration, so VJ will come in handy in the future.

Thanks Everyone!! So I just got to IM my fiance since she had to make a 10 hour journey to Rio for her interview and spent all day traveling back. I asked her about the interview and what they asked. I dont know if it was just because we were overly prepared with lots of pics, emails, and making sure everything was filled out or what, but she said her interview didnt even last 10 minutes. Just some simple questions like am I religious, has she met my family, have I met hers, and when do you planning on getting married. Is this normal, because I was getting real nervous coming up to the interview date? I guess had I found this site sooner I might have felt a little more at ease.

Welcome aboard and Congratulations on your approval!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Welcome and congratulations!

Since you're not done yet - your fiancee still has to come and you two need to get married, you may want to read up on the Adjustment of Status guide from Family based visas. I'm sure you don't want to give more money to your attorney now that you found VJ!

Welcome ^^ :time:

Love is patient and kind;

it is not jealous or conceited or proud;

love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable;

love does not keep a record of wrongs;

love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth.

Love never gives up; and its faith, hope, and patience never fail.

Love is eternal.

Congratulations! We have our interview in Rio on Sept. 1st. I am relieved to hear that things went well and that the interview was not hard. We also have tons of evidence and are very prepared. My fiance has to travel several hours to get there as well. Good luck with the rest of your journey! Parabems!!

It is the best of the best. When your lawyer hits you up for his fee to do the AOS, just send him a link to this site :lol:
