Aye. I think it would be the equivalent of HUD housing here. Gov't subsidized, privately owned houses which are rented to those with low incomes.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

I finally got a call from her today. Yay!

She says she's leaving me for a construction worker who lives in council housing and has 8 kids.

in other news, mawilson quits his job, moves back to england and goes on the dole to be more interesting to mags.

Ok, not really. She's in Malta now visiting her dad. She'll be there until next Sunday when she flies back to London, meets up with Jordan, then flies here on Monday (16th). I don't expect to be around VJ much on the 16th or 17th.....

OMG, I went on vacation with my Mom and her two crazy sisters to Malta once. I'm tellin ya, you haven't LIVED until you've played bingo in the town square with the caller yelling numbers in arabic and then finishing it off with a night of karaoke. Too funny. :lol:

Glad to hear she's safe and sound! :)

Only one more white-knuckle moment left.... her plane from Malta has safely landed at Gatwick. Now I just have to deal with the anxiety while she's in the air tomorrow. I'll be too busy today to worry about it much....I have a LOT of work to do. See y'all.

You sound SO much like me. I check online constantly to see the flight status when someone I care about is flying.

Sorry you're lonely without her, she's an absolute doll!

Well, I didn't get it all done. I ran out of lumber (nothing around here open on Sunday) and time. I'm busting ####### right now to get everything cleaned up and put away so it'll be all neat and tidy when we get back home tomorrow evening.

Here are some pics of the new window, new closet, etc. There's actually a bit more trim and such than the pics show, but I'm just too damn lazy to go take new ones....these are from last night. I'm also including a picture of my Masi - just because I'm a bike freak and I love my bike. lol
